Bring it 2010 I ready for the new yearHey

Hello everyone,
Will I hope you all have fun and peaceful plans for the new year. I am very happy to say good by to 2009. There were bad things this year like 6 losses and good news this year like 8 new babies.
There were days when we felt on top of the world and joy surrounded us. There were days when we were to sick to get out of bed. There were the sun shined and days when it rained. I guess you can just say 2009 was full of life and everything that goes with life good and bad.

Gary has improved very much in school and getting better with his Autism. Nick is still working very hard to pay for all the medical bills his loved ones keep billing up. I am doing great with my art work and so so with my Post Tramatic Stress Disorder ( PTSD) but good news I know where my health problems have been. Now I have great people who are helping me get well.

We are still 1 enemies with the health insurancy companies. Our sanity is barly intake, but hopefully God will take over the Government and get them to help us. Hummm I think this could make a good Scroge movie.

All in all we have those we love most still here with us and happy to welcome the new family members and happy to see a new year coming to a home soon.

all Parties a success and enjoying a peaceful Boxing Day

On the 19th we had our Family party. Gary got Mario Cart Wii game and was so excited. We all had a really good time, food, family and love or was that just the Egg nog. Ha Ha. No I had a great time with our traditional Family celerbration. Everyone got lovly gifts. And the food was great. We went home and Gary was able to open up the Wii console. Been glued to it ever since.

Christmas Eve was nice. We opened up gifts early so Gary could play some more. Then Christmas Morning Gary was up and opening his gifts befor we could get a camera on. Gary got everything he wanted and more. It was a sheer joy watching him and how happy and excited he was. Then he had about 4 hours of time at home to play befor we went to my mom's for lunch. It worked out perfect this year. Had lots of fun at mom and dad's too. Uncle Tom gave Gary Sonic the secert rings Wii game and once we got home Gary played with the game until he was too tired to keep his eyes open.

We are having a nice peaceful boxing day. Nick has been out a couple of times to do errands. I am being lazy staying inside and doing laundry. I got a new purse for Christmas so need to rearrange things soon. My big Christmas wishes came true. My friend whose husband is battling Brain tummors had a good Christmas, my friend on chemo had a great Christmas and my other friend fitting cancer had a great Christmas. So that made for a Merry Christmas for me too. Also having my Unlce Tom recovering well from Heart surgery makes an extra bonus.

My art work is coming along really well. I have a place called Enchanted Grounds that is willing to hang up some of my space paintings for sale. That is cool. They are a coffee shop/ board game store. So might have some luck.

Nick is doing well. Working hard as ever but having fun with his me and Gary.

Gary's Christmas Party

Today was Gary's school Christmas Party. ( of course they call it a winter party- whatever).
There were crafts, games, snacks, decorating cookies and music. It was a lot of fun. I supplied the music and helped with some of the craft tables. There was no Paraprofessional so I kept an eye on Gary. Although he really did great didn't need me much at all. I made sure he had his snack right away that helped alot. He made a place mat out of foam and foam stickers, made a snowflake out of a napkin and decorated ginger bread cookies. I had perky party music so there would not be any complaints about support one holiday over another. I had fun dancing in between stations and the other moms had fun dancing a little to. Gary was lost only once and I had him dance with me while we waited our turn for the next activity. That was fun for both of us. So I think it is safe to say he had a good day.

Just waiting for him and Nick to get home. Miss Nicki will be here to work with Gary so fun busy day.

Christmas Count down

Gary had a great day today at school. He brought home presents for mommy and daddy that he had been working on this week. I think Nick put them in the basement. And today Gary told me he loves horse time. Mr. I quit horse forever. I knew he really enjoyed it. He has a friend that rides with him now. That makes it much more fun. The location is also so close to a private airport that they get to watch planes fly over head. I think he is having fun watching the Canadian Geese too.

We are all better now. Just a little cough. The air is extremly dry. I am thristy all the time. We have a humidifier for Gary's room. We are suppose to have a whole house humidifier, but don't know why it is not working right. Will have to call to get it fixed.

Today was our ( Nick an Me) Grandmas Birthday. She is so special to me. I love her so much. It is just so awsome to have a Grandma again. I didn't have any grandparents for a very long time. So I always joke that I married Nick just so I could have a grandma again. I had so much fun talking to her on the phone. She is the Best Grandma Ever. I am kinda bumbed out that I missed fling out to see her this year, but hope next year gives us the oppertunity to fly out and see her. At least I have the phone and email. LOVE YOU GRANDMA. There truly is no words to describe how special she is to me.

Nick is doing great working hard like always and having fun with the Christmas preperations.
I am counting my blessings and trying not to focuse on the negatives of this year.

Almost Better

It is Monday evening and Jennifer is giving Gary his bath. We are all getting over a cold. I was home sick last week, Gary was sick last week and Jennifer also was sick. All three of us went to the doctor and Jennifer and I are on antibiotics. It was just a stupid cold (no fever). Hopefully the last of our winter colds.

On Saturday Gary saw Santa Claus. We didn't get any pictures but he did sit on Santa's lap and talked to him. On Tuesday we are going to see Santa again at Big Bill's New York Pizza. We'll get lots of pictures then.

Catch Time

Gary had a great time in school last week. He really was excited about Thanksgiving- The Big Turkey Day. Then he was excited because now it is Merry Christmas Time. So I have told him that it is baby Merry Christmas time. That baby Jesus is still in Mary's tummy and on Christmas day is when we celerbrate Jesus's birtday and Jesus will be here. But we get to watch Christmas time grow. We watch as one by one houses put up lights and we put Christmas trees. How little by little we all get the presents to celerbrate the Big Birthday Party for Jesus. I told how there will by many small parties getting ready for the big Chirstmas Day. He like that idea. He has been having fun watching Christmas time grow. We went outside last night and Gary was all excited because there were more house with Christmas lights. Christmas is growing.

Nick had a great time cooking for Thanksgiving. We had our usally group of people. I have been feeling a little sick, head cold. But we all had a great holiday. Then had to put out the lights got another blow up decoration for our excited boy. He really is excited about Christmas. He instited we put up the tree last night for Merry Christmas time is here and we had to put it in the front window because that's where our neighbors tress are. So cute. Gary is just glowing with the excitement of Christmas. Makes me happy.

The only down side is I gave my cold crap to everyone here at our home. Nick is sleeping now. I took Gary and I to Uregent Care to make sure it was just a virius. And yep - Gary looked fine. I was not looking as great said I was too dehydrated along with the virual symptoms. So I have my big jug of water to drink. Gary is happy playing DS . Nick is resting and I am getting ready to drink it up. Cheers everyone.

Monday Night

Gary and I are down in the basement playing on the computer. Gary is playing Jimmy Neutron and I and web surfing while watching the football game. Tomorrow is Gary's last day of school before Thanksgiving and my last day of work before Thanksgiving. I could get use to two day work weeks.

We went to Gary's parent teacher conference last week. Gary is doing good at school. He is at grade level (or IEP level) for all of his classes. He gets along well with the other kids and is getting good at following directions (although he sometimes needs help to keep from zoning out).

His teacher told us a funny story about Gary. She said she was collecting reading logs for the other students and then giving each child a piece of candy when they turned in there reading log. Gary did not have his reading log with him. He went to the his teacher and said, "here is my invisible reading log". His teacher then said, "here is your invisible candy". Gary then followed with, "I don't want invisible candy".

I've got the turkey thawing in the refrigerator. Wednesday I will get the produce I need for cooking Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday.

Bunkbed has arrived

Yea! Gary's big boy bed is here. The bunkbed is put up and I am just waiting on some sheets& blankets to finish washing than it will be readdy for my boy. I have been decluttering and rearrange for days now. Ready for a min break. My next big home project is to clean sweet the loft and make it into my own art studio. But for today just enjoying Gary having a real bedroom.

Gary had a great day at school yesterday. The school is still working on Family and the teacher said Gary kept insiting that he had brothers and sisters. I sent a note to school today explaining that Briana from across the street calls Gary her little brother. Also we have Karen and Lynn as God parents and call Denise and James Gary's God brother and sister. But I thought it was cute. They will have a fun family program sometime this week on Friday. Gary has been praticing and painting. He also had a lot of fun riding Yoda the horse. She is called princess by everyone else but Gary calls her Yoda. So I was calling her Princess Yoda. He did such a great job and is sitting so straight and tall on the horse. I am really happy. Hope he has a good day today.

Operation Clean Sweep

Yesterday we bought Gary a big boy bed! Yea! and of course he picked out the coolest bunk bed. There are stairs that take you to the top bunk and the stairs are also storage spaces. So Wensday is the big day for our family. Hence operation clean sweep.
Today I cleaned out his old toddler bed and will donate it to the ARC. Then picked up toys organized books and cleaned off the changing table which I may use as a TV stand for Gary. Then I tried to pick up and organize in Gary's play room. That is where we will put the mattress he has been sleeping in on and off. So he has something to jump on. Gary has actually been sleeping in the guest room on the day bed wich is too small for him. The new bed has a double on the bottom and Twin on top. I am so excited and so is Gary. It will be so nice to have a room for him again. His room got a little over run with this and thats. Then he will be across the hall from his play room. Should work out well.

Other than that we are all well and doing great. Gary is having good days at school. They are working on Family days. Time to take our big boy off to bath time. Now comes the fun. He must stop, walk away from the computer and jump into a bath tub. Commence mission Bath Time. Wish me luck.

Saturday Night

It's Saturday night and Jennifer and Gary just went to bed a few minutes ago.

What a difference a week is for Colorado weather. Last Saturday we just finished with three days of snow and had 24.5 inches of snow on the ground. Yesterday it got up to 75 degrees and today it was 72 degrees. Almost all of the snow in the neighborhood has melted.

Gary had a good four days at school. Friday was a teacher workday. I got off work early and we all went to lunch (Jennifer and Gary had Panda Express and I had Chipolte). After lunch we went to Game Stop to get a car charger for Gary's DS. We got the charger but Gary had a meltdown because he couldn't get a new game. We got him calmed down and home.

Once we were at home he decided he wanted to walk back to the store. I got him distracted and we just went for a nice long walk. We probably walked over a mile which really helped calm him down completely and also tired him out.

The rest of the day and all day Saturday he did really well.

Tomorrow we are going to the Rodger's for lunch.

Snow Day 2

Gary and I are back inside. I was outside shoveling the driveway and sidewalk when Gary when Gary decided he wanted to go outside. He came to the garage in his boots and gloves. We went inside so I could get Gary his snow pants, hat, and jacket and we went outside.

While I shoveled Gary played in the snow. He had his little shovel in the yard digging away while describing how deep the snow was. He had fun until he got cold. So we are now back inside.

Snow Day

Today was the day of the Craft Fair with Nick's work. I was able to make it to the fair. Then the weather got bad and Gary's School was closed for Snow. It is still snowing now. The Craft Fair decided to reschedual because so many employees were unable to get to work. Us crafters just stayed there was some people. Around 10 am to about 1 pm we had a deciet flow of people. I ended up making $37. The both cost was $10 so I came out ahead. I did really well for us being under Sever Weather Storm Watch. It was not horrid when I left to get to the building and I left a little early and everything was find. Then when I got home it started to really come down hard with snow. We think we have proble about 1 foot of snow or more. So we may all have snow day tomorrow.

Gary and Nick had a great time with their snow day. Nick cooked a good breakfast and they played together. All in all it was a good day for the KCCH.

Sabturday Night

It's Saturday night and Jennifer and Gary are getting ready for bed. I'm watching the history channel with a cat sitting on my side.

Jennifer is feeling better, but she still has a cough. Hopefully tomorrow she will feel even better. She rested most of the day.

Gary and I went to Chik File for breakfast and then went to a Halloween store. We just looked around. He already has his costume. He is going to be a storm trooper (from Star Wars). After our outing he stayed home and played his DS.

After dinner (chicken sandwiches) we went out for gelato.

Friday Night

It's Friday night (9:00) and Gary and Jennifer just laid down to go to sleep. I have been off work the last two days to watch Gary as Jennifer has had a cold.

Thursday Jennifer went to the doctor who verified that she did not have H1N1. Just a bad cold. he gave her some cough medicine and went over what OTC medicines she could take. While Jennifer was at the doctor, Gary and I went to Chik File' for lunch. He ate really well. We then just hung around the house the rest of the day.

Today I took Gary to his Hippo/Speech therapy. He was a real booger head getting started. He did not want to get on the horse or do anything. He settled down after laying on the horse for two minutes (or less) and then did OK. His sensories were a little off so the speech part was a little rough.

After Hippo/Speech therapy, Gary and I went to lunch at Fatburgers. He did really well and ate almost all of his hot dog and his french fries. After lunch, we came home and again just hung around the house. I did a little cleaning (vacuuming and laundry).

Hopefully Jennifer will fell better tomorrow. And Gary goes back to school on Monday.

Monday play day

Gary and Briana had fun playing school today. Briana had a timer she used with her list of activities. Gary then got to play Red light Green light too cute. I even got a teacher report from Briana on how good Gary was. Really fun hearing them laughing and playing so nicly. I made them Mac N Cheese with oranges for lunch. Fun Fun.

I did laundry,dishes, and computer stuff. I am feeling better just a sore throught and cough. Nick just has the cough. The whole neighborhood seems to be sick with one thing or another. Going to be a very long cold and flue season. I am trying to do all I can to keep us well. Sooner or later we will all be 100% again.

I got some house work done and played. We had a good day.

Sunday Night

It's Sunday night and I am taking a quick break. I just finished making the goody bags for the Halloween trick or treaters.

Jennifer wasn't feeling well this morning so Gary and I hung out. We went to lunch (he had orange chicken and Spring rolls from Panda Express, and I had a burrito from Chopolte). After lunch we went grocery shopping.

I got to watch the second half of the Saints game (Go Saints!).

Work for me tomorrow and Gary starts week two of fall break.

Saturday Night

It's a quiet Saturday night here. Gary is watching Mario youtube videos and Jennifer is resting. The flu just won't leave here.

Today Gary and I went to see "Where the Wild Things Are". The movie was ok and Gary said he liked it a little bit. He was really good during the movie, eating his popcorn and rocking in the chair. He liked "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs Better".

Showy Sunday

This moringing I went to the big Craft Fair at our rec. center. It was the one I was able to be in last year. I didn't have the money to enter this year. I had lots of fun visiting with all the vendors. Some I have made friends with from the year I was in. I didn't buy anything, but my mommy was so nice she got me a bottle of spices that I am excited to try and a small pinky ring. Then we went off to luch at one of my favs. Cafe Mon Ami.

Then I took Gary to ParkMeadows they had a fun window display yesterday with all the Star Wars catetors. Gary found his costum that he wanted and matching gun. He is going to be a storm trooper this year. I don't mind since I love the Star Wars stuff. I bought a costum on sale last year. It is supposse to be a sexy school girl, but I am going to use it with a few adjustments and be Ashleigh Tinsdale from Dinsey's Suite Life. I even have the long blond wig. That would me more fun with all the kids than the other way.

Nick still working his way through the CO crud. In about a week or so he should be feeling better. Gary is great. He has some trouble at night and early morning but the claritn works and he is ready to run.

I am supper excited today because when we were at the mall Gary went to the bathroom all by himself.. Yea Whooopeee. Yeeee Haaaa. He was playing with two other kids and the little girl had to go to the bathroom. So Gary followed her and he found his own stall and went potty. I saw him following the little girl and went after him thinking he would need help and would be standing around looking for help. No. He is a big boy now. By the time I got to him he was already in his stall going potty. I was sooo excited. I just couldn't stop praising him. Wow. This is the frist time. He went with out any dragging, screaming I no go forever, no fightinging. It was soo cool watching him like any other child going potty on his own. It is possible. I am so flabergasted.

We are hanging around the house watching TV now and resting. Hope everyone is having a good day.

Sat morning

We are all off to a quite peaceful start. There is a rain,snow,sleet,stuff falling from the sky and it is cold outside. We are all snuggle warm inside. Gary has been a happy busy boy this morning. He went out to the garage to get some candy. He has been in the basement playing games then came upstairs looking for mommy so he could play games upstairs. I was still a little sleepy. Nick is still resting. I am down loading games in the basement on one computer while talking to all of you on another. I have finished my morning exersize this of walking up and down 24 steps of stairs at least 3 times so far. I think that counts as exersize.

I think I will get me some coffee made soon and maybe make some pancakes. Right now still need some morning rest. We did not take Gary last night to the rocket race/popcorn lecture/older kids activity/meeting. It was from 7 to 10 pm. To late and to long for us. I am thinking of setting aside some time in Nov. for his den to get together and have a little rocket race. Then the boys have had a chance to play and the setting will be during the day and more catered to 6 year olds.

Gary is better. He just coughs at night and early morning then after he has some claritin he is happy go lucky the rest of the day.

I am feeling better too. This change in weather has my sinius misbehaving but other than that I am ok. Still taking all the nessecary therapies to completly heal from my Post Tramatic Stress Disorder. The good news is that all other previous diagonis have been dropped. They were all symptoms of this PTSD. Which makes me happy. I address all the many losses I have had( around 50some) and the minor sexual abuse as a child ( from neighbor)and I get to go back to perky happy Jen again. With the mild chance of minor flash backs that would only last hours or a few days. I will get my life back to where I want it to and I am not crazy-yea.

Nick has been working hard at work doing whatever secert secert stuff it is. OOO . Letting him get get plenty of rest so he can get over the CO crud.

Fall Break, Snow fun fun

Our Fall break is offically on. Gary is happy in his favorite place the computer room. I am happy playing on FB and computer stuff. Gary is still coughing a little, but doing much better. I feel pretty good but now Nick is sick. I have a feeling it is going to be a very interesting season. I plan on having lots of cold care on hand.

Gary was OK today at school except he did not want to clean up after recess and threw leggos at the teacher and tried to hit her. So I am not the happiest of mommies. But it is break time and our lovly teacher will get a well desirve break.

I have no idea what we will be doing but there are plenty of places to go and stuff here at home.
We had just a little bit of snow today, then mostly rain. It has been a very rainny year.

We worked on shaping a coloring Gary's rockett for Tiger Cubs. Not sure if we will go to the races. They are stupidly having it Friday night from 7 to 10 PM along with the regular meeting stuff which means a lot of talk about popcorn and the little ones just don't have the attention to sit that long and watch stuff they don't understand. But I will have to be creative and find a way to have a rocket race. I am still very happy we have Gary in Scouts.

counting down the days

It is Wensday and Gary's Fall break starts on Friday. He is doing OK. Just weird cold stuff going around. You feel fine then crash at night and the stuffed up noise dosen't go away. Too much dead weeds around the house maybe or just goning to be an interesting Cold and Flue season. We are fine. I feeling better everyday. Nick has just decide to join us in the Cold fun. Gary is better, just early in morning he is coughing and congested. Should change the sheets in his room. I have been spraying Lysol and cleaning a little here and there, when I'm not glued to the computer playing on Face Book.

Gary had so much fun with his Tiger Cub group. I really do believe this will end up being a great activity for him. Just like most things new it is shaky in the begining. Then he learns the routine and rules and has a successful time. He has a lot of make up work to do over break. Hope I can over come my implusive scatter brain and get orginzed to get the work down. Gary really dose love school and seems to be having a great time. We are very lucky to have such a great team and school for him.

Over break Gary has 2 parties to go to and lots of fun activites planed by our Lunch Bunch group. We should have fun

I am doing fine. Trying to focuse on getting the house clean now and doing a little bit at a time. Also having way to much fun on Face Book. But still taking care of the cats, Gary and Nick when he lets me. I gave up looking for work too much work to do around the house and Gary still needs me. Some needs to be close by if he gets sick and go to pick him up.
Well I have spent most of the day on the computer. Going to go gather up all the trash, take care of the dishes, do some laundry and off to a Dr. appointment. Have a great day.

Monday Night

The flu marches on. Today was my turn to stay home. I had a sore throat and a bit of a cough. While I was trying to get some rest (Jennifer was at the vet with Harvey, yearly check up), the phone rang. It was Fox Creek, Gary was congested and was not himself. They asked that we pick him up and take him home. So another day off for Gary. The doctor thinks he is over most of the cold but since the school's are so paranoid because of H1N1, they are sending lots of kids home.

Gary played his DS and computer today. He hung out with his mommy since I eventually went back to sleep. We are going to send him back to school tomorrow. Oh well, at least fall break starts at the end of the week.

Thursday Night

It is about 9:15 and Gary and Jennifer are upstairs watching the Upside Down Show and falling asleep.

Gary was sent home from school today because he threw up a bit. Jennifer took him to the doctor and they said that he still has the virus from last week but it is on its way out. Since he doesn't blow his nose well, but sniffles instead. This caused him to swallow some mucus and then he threw it up. Oh well, it happens.

I came home from work early to help out. I'll also take tomorrow off.

Wednesday

Gary and I are hanging out watching Phineas and Ferb while Jennifer is painting tonight.

Gary had a good day at school today and then had his annual eye exam. He did great during the exam. He has good vision and no eye problems. He even let the tech put eye drops in. The only problem he had was he didn't like the paper sunglasses they gave him. He wanted a real pair. He had a minor temper tantrum, but was soon back to himself.

After we got back from the eye doctor, Gary played for while with Justin and Mira. Then we went inside for dinner. And now you are all caught up.

Sunday

It was another quiet weekend here. Gary's friend Briana came over and they played really well together. Since they were in the basement I put on Toy Story 2 for them to watch while I cleaned up photos.

While I was cleaning up the photos I also was able to watch a little football on the computer. I watched some of the Saints' game and some of the Bronco's game.

The next item for us today is to figure out what to eat for dinner.

Saturday Afternnooon

Just having a nice quiet Saturday. We all went to lunch at Fatburger and then came home. Gary played his DS for a bit and then found his two Tom and Jerry Tales DVDs. He is having fun watching the DVDs.

I'm doing a little web surfing and watching some football on the computer (http://www.channelsurfing.net/).

Jennifer is also playing on the computer.

I did make Jennifer some fresh chicken vegetable soup. It is still simmering. I used green bean, onions, zucchini, and tomatoes from Grandpa Rhino's garden.

Saturday Morning

Gary and I are hanging out this morning while Jennifer has a lie in. Right now we are watching "Meet the Robinsons". Earlier today we walked around the corner and watched the parade. Gafy got some candy at the parade and is sugared up.

Late Friday

Gary and Jennifer just went to bed a few minutes ago. Gary is almost completely over his cold. Tonight after dinner we went and walked around South Glenn. It is still under construction with many stores and the apartments still not ready. But they do have a couple of fountains working and it is a nice place to walk.

Gary did hos happy run/walk through the place. He decided that he wanted to walk through Macy's so we went inside. I made the mistake of going out a different exit and he saw the Best Buy that is across the parking. So of course we had to go to the "movie store". He has only been in this Best Buy once before but he was able to find the DS games quickly. He must have some kind of game radar. He is now the proud possessor of the Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs game.

The fun part of Gary playing the games is that he figures out what he needs to do without any help. It will really be fun when he can really read and play the game as opposed to trial and error.

Tomorrow morning is the Highlands Ranch High School homecoming parade. We will try to go to the parade since it is just around the corner. It starts at 9:00 from his school (Fox Creek) and ends at the high school by our house. So we can probably leave the house around 9:15 and catch most if not all of the parade.

Thursday

It's Thursday night here. Gary and I are watching "Wow Wow Wubbsy". When the show ends in a couple of minutes I am going to try and get him upstairs to brush his teeth, use the potty, and then get in bed.

Earlier tonight we went to the Waffle House for dinner tonight. Jennifer was getting cabin fever and Gary wanted to stay home. Not even McDonald's or Chik File' moved him. But the mention of waffles and he was out the door.

Dinner there was actually pretty good. Gary had a waffle (of course), Jennifer had an egg sandwich, and I had a BLT. It was yummy.

This Saturday is the Highlands Ranch HS homecoming parade. We are going to try and take Gary. It is just around the corner and he had fun watching it last year.

Gary's Up date.

We had a really fun weekend. Gary's new little friend Connor was able to have a play date on Saturday. Saturday Morning Nick & Gary went to see Couldy with a Chance of Meatballs. Then after lunch I took Gary to Connor's home. We had so much fun. John, Connor's Dad drove us all to a Classic Car show, where the Tiger Cubs were selling popcorn and we had a blast looking at all of the cool cars. John took us in his PT Cruiser with fancy flame design. Gary thought that was cool. We found out we have a lot in common us parents and look forward to our next time together. We live only a mile away from each other. Connor's parents have another child that is the one with significate special needs. Watching Connor and Gary play is priceless. It was fun watching Connor's parents look of joy watching the two boys play together. Just too much fun.
Then Sunday was lunch time with my parents and we had fun finishing off the garden and playing with Grandpa.

Monday was my big meeting with the Schools Special Ed team. We came up with a new plan to help Gary with his difficult time frame at school. He will be able to have schedual time with the squeze machine and time to play with sand. These activities are enjoyable and calming for him. There are other little normal rough n tough boys in Gary's class that can get him wound up. So they are tring to keep them seperated. The good news was the praise I got about Gary. They said there has been more than once when they have gone into his class room to find Gary listening and following directios while the others are running wild. I was very proud of my boy. We have a good plan in place for the rest of the year. I think we will see great growth in my boy.

Down side Gary got sent home sick. He has a fever and small sinus conjestion and slight cough. The sinus and cough go away for the most part with the Claritin, that thank God he has decided to take again. Thank You God!!!! Gary will see DR. tomorrow. It is just procedure because of the Swine flue being found in his school. Gary is fine but just being extra cautious. So this has been so much fun week with my poor boy being sick. Me wanting him to be able to get back together with Connor. Thank God again. Gary and Connor and another one of Gary's friends are all in Tiger Cubs together. I really believe Scouts is going to be soo good for Gary.
Well there is my big catch up. I am ready for slumber land. Gary is with Daddy and will join me soon. We love you all. Especial Grandma. Hope you will forgive my laps in writing. Love you very much my special Grandma.

Thursday Night

It's Thursday night. Gary and I are watching the Upside Down Show before Gary goes to bed. Jennifer has already gone upstairs. Gary had a good day at school and did awesome with Miss Nikki today.

Tomorrow I am going into work late so that I can go watch Gary at his field day. And on Saturday Gary is going to a car show with one of his Tiger scout buddies.

Tuesday Night

It is Tuesday night here and we are all winding down. Jennifer is laying down upstairs. Gary and I are downstairs watching the Upside Down Show. Gary is also eating his snack.

Gary had a good day at school and a good hippo/speech therapy session today.

Gary had fun at Cub Scouts last night. The only downside to scouting so far is the fund raising. Gary is selling popcorn. If you want some, you can go to

The excited Scouts.

As Nick said we went to the Boy Scout store today. Nick was ready to go in get what he need and leave. I was transported back to my childhood and was so excited I wanted everything that had a Tiger on it. I was like oh yea I need a Tiger Cub bumber sticker. Oh look at these stickers, look at this book, look at all the cool patches. Gary and I went up and down the iles. I was all about and look Gary when you get older you get to use these sleeping bags for camping trips. Oh Gary look there is the trophy you can when with the racer cars. Then other older boys would be, telling Gary all the fun Scout stuff and what things were. Then we ran into other starry scout struckin fathers and talk about our fun Scouting days. One of the fathers was so nice to us he was and here is where the hats are and if you don't sew then you need this specail adhesive paper that will stick your patches on for you. I was great where is it I can't sew. We had so much fun talking about all the Scout stuff. Then Nick is looking at my arms full of stuff saying we don't need that put it back. I did get to keep some fun stickers and Gary manage to keep a friscbe. I am having fun talking with the dads about camping the kids are having fun talking to Gary about all the neat things they are goin do. We even found a little camping bench which worked out perfect as a cot for Gary. I was so excited and driving Nick completly insane. I told the other dads when we were in line that I had to try and settle down or my husband would not bring me back. Nick was like right I am not bringing you back. Then I said I know where the store is I can come back on my own a go shoping. The dads and I just smiled at each other. Nick was right I was way to excited. But my boy is in Scouts. How can a Scout loving mommy not be excited. All the patches, camping gear, coffee cups with Scout logos, all the other Scouts. Come on. I haven't been this overly enthisatic in months.
Gary had fun tooo. The Scout ask him if he was happy being a Tiger Cub and Gary shook his head yes and said yes I am. Then we get home and Gary wants to work on the rocket. Then Gary found his big stickers for Tiger Cub, Wolf, Bear, BobCat and starts putting them on his shirt. Then he gave us a modling show. Now his stickers are on his computer chair and the Tiger Cub is on his praise wall. I made a small wall area in the kitchen to post all the good things about Gary. Good letters form teachers anything that shows I am proud of him and encourages him to keep working hard. What a fun day at the store for me and Gary.

Saturday

It's a rainy Saturday night and we are just watching a little TV. Earlier today we went to the Scout store to get Gary his cub scout shirt. We also got a second rocket for the rocket races. We have to make it circular and glue the two pieces together. The rocket races are similar to the pine wood derby except that the track is a wire. The rocket is made of pine and has to be carved.

We got the second kit so we could practice carving and shaping the rocket. I think we still need some practice.

Thursday Night

Just watching some football while the house slowly quiets down. We went down the street tonight to celebrate Ilija's 7th birthday with pizza and cake. Gary had a great time. He's upstairs watching the Upside Down Show with Jennifer. Hopefully he will be ready for bed soon.

Good News on Garys progress

As I have said last week I was concerned about Gary he was getting too many time outs. Then we realized the time outs were all around the same time. We now know that it was about water. He made a game out of fill his water bottle and the staff thought he was drinking too much water. Gary was upset when they wouldn't let him have his water. But things are better now. As I will show by sharing a letter his teacher sent us:

Gary is doing a great job in our classroom when an aide is not with him. He listens to me and follows directions! A child came up to me yesterday at the end of recess to say that he played with Gary that recess. The boy said," Gary had a good recess. He listened to everything I told him. He understands me. He was a good boy." Hooray!

Early Sunday

Today was an early start (for a Sunday). I got up to feed the cats at 7:30 was tried to go back to sleep in Gary's room. Gary had moved into our room earlier. I was just getting comfortable when the doorbell started ringing. Marko and Mattea from down the street had come down to play with Gary. I walked them home (found out later that they had snuck out, Marko is 3 and Mattea around 2).

But the doorbell was enough to wake up Gary. Since Jennifer is still not feeling well Gary and I had breakfast and then watched some Disney channel. Gary has also discovered Lego Starwars and Lego Batman videos on youtube. We watch a bunch last night and watched some more this morning. Some are really quite clever, others use some language that is not appropriate for a six year old.

Karl, Ilija, and Marko came over later in the morning and played here for a while.

Other than that it has been a quiet day. I'm channel surfing now watching some football, the Rockies game, and maybe later I'll be able to watch some of the CU - CSU game.

A Quiet Saturday

Today was a quiet Saturday. Jennifer's cold is kicking her butt so she slept a good part of the day while I hung out with Gary. He played upstairs for a while so I was able to watch some football. Then he came downstairs and I rested on the couch while we watched The Penguins of Madagascar and Sponge Bob Square Pants.

Gary then went to Club for Kids while Jennifer and I went to Bill Bill's for dinner. After dinner I went grocery shopping.

After I picked Gary up from Club For Kids we watched some Lego Star Wars shorts on YouTube.

Hot N Cold

Gary is feeling better now that he has had some anitbotics. I was going to paint tonight but started to feel yucky again. One day I think this cold is gone the next day it comes back. Nothing serious. Just a funky cold. Going to try and be a good mommy tonight and get Gary to bed on time and get myself to sleep early.

Gary had fun at school. No reports. He has made a good friend on the bus. They are so cute together. His friend wanted to get off the bus and play with us today. Have to try and find his phone number and make a play date. We had our usual picnic after school. Then Karl and Ilija came over to play. Good night if it wasn't for my sore throat. But tomorrow I should be better.

Sleepless in CO

Our sweet Gary has drifted off to sleep, which is where I should be. I am sure soon I will feel to sleepy to stay up. Gary brought home two good notes form school. One was for having a neat desk and the other was for doing very well at independent reading time. We have got to start reading too him at night again. He had 5 time outs in one week so very happy to see he is settling into school final. He still loves the bus. Today we had a pinic outside while we waited for the bus to come. It picks us up in front of the house. Worked out great. I try to have snack and ice water waiting for him outside when the bus arrives from school. Nice to have mommy waiting on the front porch. Then we walk down to the other bus stop and pick up our neighbors. Gary has been having fun with this routin. Today Karne was waiting for him on the porch and we played phonic games. Great day for Gary. I had my perment crown put on and felt no pain. So good day for me too. Gary and I are both getting over a cold mine is almost gone. Gary has anitboitics this time. He has had this virus crap for more than 21 days. So took him to the Doctor and said I need anitboitics he has had this for 21 days now. So I got my med. I even found away for Gary to take his meds now. Praise the Lord. Some miracles do exisit. Tomorrow I will see my Dr. see if I need anything strong proble not. Then run my errands and sit on the porch with pinci food waiting for my boy. Another day in paridise. Love to all. Sleepless in CO is out for the night.

Saturday

We are having a quiet Saturday. We took Gary to the doctor this morning and he has a sinus infection. They gave us some antibiotics to give him. Wish us luck.

The rest of the day has been fairly quiet. Gary has been a tornado in a trailer park of energy. He has played his DS, watched Tom and Jerry, and has been generally bouncing around. Jennifer has been listening to the Half-Blood Prince and I have been just hanging out.

Thursday Night

It is now quiet in the house. Gary fell asleep before nine and Jennifer is also on her way to bed. We are all doing ok, however, Jennifer is fighting a bit of a cold and Gary has a cough at night (probably allergies).

I have a short day at work tomorrow (yea me). We do not have any big plans for the weekend except to try and get to the Scout Store to get Gary's cub scout uniform. His first den meeting is Sunday at 1:30.

Hopefully they will give us the rest of the information we need for the popcorn sales (I hate making little kids do fundraisers, oh well).

Monday

It has been a long Monday for me but a good day for Gary. He went to school today and then had some friends come over to play after school. In all, there were five kids over here today with Gary. He had fun.

When I got home from work Gary and I played with his new light saber's and then we went to Chik File for dinner.

Tomorrow Gary has school and Hippo.

Sunday

It is a quiet Sunday afternoon here. Gary slept passed 8:30 and even then he did not wake us up. I found he was up around 8:30 and went to look for him. He was in the basement playing a computer game. He brought the game and two controllers from his computer upstairs to the basement and connected everything up himself. He then started the game and was happily playing when I found him.

He came upstairs when I told him that we had donuts for breakfast.

For lunch I grilled some hamburgers, made some bacon, and fixed some potato fries. Everything was yummy.

Wednesday Night

It is Wednesday night and Gary is eating his bedtime snack. He had a pretty good day. He went to school and then after school he had a good session with Miss Nikki (his OT).

While Jennifer went painting tonight, Gary and I went to Wendy's for dinner and then after dinner Gary rode his bike.

He then had his bath and we are now current with him eating his snack.

parent teacher meetings

No school today because it was parent teacher meetings. Which made me feel really great because Gary had to stay home and no school tomorrow more meetings and kids school photos. The meeting went well. The teacher really likes Gary and he is doing great in the classroom. So Gary will get his photo taken tomorrow and then I will have to come up with something to keep him happy. He is feeling well enough to be bored at home and wants to go find friends to play with.

I am doing laundry and some cleaning. Also playing on the computer. I finished another space painting and looking forward to starting another. We are doing well here. Hope all is well with you.

Gary went to school today. but got sick and had to come back home after lunch. So now we are watching Spongebob and resting will have to keep him home for the rest of week. Other than that we are doing fine. I will go painting tonight. hope everyone has a great day there.

Gary's School

Gary's first week of school was great. He had a lot of fun and really enjoyed being at school. Then we had family visit and Gary thought that was great too. He really enjoyed everything. Then Saturday came and poor baby got sick. He has not been back to school yet. He is feeling much better today and will return to school tomorrow.

I had to go to a Back to School Night presentation tonight. Meet the teacher got the schedual of Gary's day and all the criteria for his year. Had a nice time visiting with the teacher. Her name is Mrs. Baskell and she is very nice and has lots of experience teaching. As we were leaving, I saw one of Gary's projects he did. There was a paper plate that he colored and his picture was in the middel. Up above was lyricks to a song about I sing a song of sunshine when and then under Garys picture there was Gary's lyricks. I sing a song of sunshine when..... I eat pizza and play with the cats. I thought this was tooo cute. That is my sunshine for you.

First day of first grade

Today was Gary's first day of school and he had a pretty good day. Jennifer stayed with him part of the day as they are still figuring out his schedule (and were missing some para-professionals). he sat well in class and was good with the rest of the kids.

Tomorrow Bob and Laurie will be here for a visit. Gary is getting excited.

Gary and I just watched Special Agent Oso and are now watching Handy Manny.

Wednesday Night

Gary had a good day today. He went to Club 4 Kids in the morning while Jennifer went to the chiropractor. I came home early today and was home when Miss Nikki (his OT) came to work with Gary. They had a really good session. We also found out that Miss Nikki has a 4:00 PM opening so that she can continue working with Gary when he starts school in one week.

Tomorrow, Gary's Grandpa Rhino is coming over to play while Jennifer goes to the dentist to get a crown.

Another tooth

Gary lost another of his baby teeth today. Jennifer said he was really excited. When she told him the Molenator was coming he said "no silly, the tooth fairy is coming".

Gary is now asleep and soon the tooth fairy will leave him some money for his tooth. I just wish there was a hair fairy. I'd be rich.

end of a good week for Gary

Gary has done really well this week. He had a great session with Dr. Pat. There were People there from the State and School district to observe our session. I am hoping this means that Dr. Pat will get more funding for his business. Gary had a day camp at a place called little monkey business. He was so excited. He had fun being snack helper and set up tables with food and drinks was so cute. But we didn't have snack. He had a great time playing with the music and dancing, singing. I stayed with him the whole time. Hope they have another camp or classes availble. Tennis Camp and lesson have ended for the summer. Gary really enjoyed these activites as well. Horse is still going we have at least 1 maybe 2 more sessions then I am not sure what will happen. We are hoping to come up with a Saturday time because Gary has gotten so much from this thearapy. Dr. Pat is down to two more sessions and again I am uncertin what will happen. I have been able to find a 4pm block with Miss Nicki for now. It seems strange to have all of Garys therapies coming to an end. The school will have some therapy but not sure how much or how often. It is exciting that Gary will be in the 1st grade in a couple of weeks and scary for me to wonder how much help he will get and if it will be enough? But he has a fiesty mom who will make certian that he gets what he needs. Gary also had fun with my dad this week. We also went to The Wildlife Experience and had a great time. I am thinking of looking for work there and still trying to find work in the school system.
The insurance companies are still giving us the run around and trying to deny an coverage for Gary's therapies. Very frustrating and angry. I have lost all patientenc with the health care system. I pray daily for some compasion and mercy to be show by the companies and government. May be when Hell freezes over I 'll see the mercy I seek.

Gary is growing up so much and really doing well. He is so close to being potty trained. He is sharing with others and wanting to have other kids to play with. He understands whit and playful teasing. He is a very happy boy and has had a great oppertunity to spend extra time with daddy. I think it has been good for both of them.

I am enjoyng my painting of space themes. I am still shacking and tired. Some days I feel better than others. Still working on different therapies. I got a wounderful family that needs me as much as I need them. Hope to get back to my normal self soon.

Tuesday Night

It is Tuesday night and everyone had a good day. Gary did a great job at Dr. Rydell's.

He is currently playing Batman and Jennifer is watching Star Trek. I'm going upstairs to joing them in a little bit.

Sunday Night

Gary fell asleep early tonight. We got off to a slow start as it was Jennifer's turn to sleep in. Once we were all moving we went to a birthday party for a school friend of Gary's at Belleview Park. The party visited the petting zoo and played in a stream. He also ate some brownie and got to hit a pinata. Finally he played at the park's playground.

After the party we went home and Gary played on his DS for a bit. He then went outside and played with some of the kids in the neighborhood using water balloons and squirt guns.

We had penne pasta and sausage for supper. Then Gary played DS a little bit longer and then he went upstairs, brushed his teeth and then went to slepp.

Saturday

It's Saturday and we are all relaxing right now. Earlier Gary and I went to lunch at Chick-fil-a. After lunch we went to target were Gary got some underpants, some bubble batch, and a new DS game.

Snack Time

It is Friday night and Gary is eating his bedtime snack and watching Jack's Big Music Show. We just came inside a little bit ago. We were outside watching some of the bigger kids (four eighth graders and a fifth grader) play ball. Gary had a blast. He had a whistle and a flashlight and was running around playing chase.

Earlier he was riding his scooter and pretending to crash in the grass. It was pretty funny.

He had Speech Therapy (with hippo) today, He also played on his DS and his computer.

But hopefully the couple of hours we were outside will have worn him out. And the excercise was good for him.

On the potty training front he did poop in the toilet twice yesterday. Hi is not potty trained yet but getting closer. Hopefully in a couple of weeks, just in time for school.

DS Lite Night

Gary and Jennifer just went to bed. Gary a happy, little boy. Since he is doing so well potty training (and we need a way to get him to sit and stay on the potty) we got him a DS tonight. It is blue and he was so excited at Target picking it out and then picking out two games. He carried it through the store and all the way home in the van. He then played for a while.

Hopefully the DS will get us the rest of the way through potty training.

The rest of Gary's day was pretty good also. He went to tennis camp this morning and then Alyssa came over and watched him while Jennifer ran some errands. Gary and Alyssa played Star Wars.

This afternoon, Miss Nikki, hi OT came over and worked with Gary. They had a good session. He strung beads and made Jennifer an anklet.

Only two days until the weekend, not that I am counting.

Monday

It was a typical Monday for me. I worked from 6:30 to 5:00.

Gary had a pretty good day. Tennis camp and a picnic with his lunch bunch friends.

Tomorrow he has camp in the morning, Dr. Rydell in the early afternoon, and then a visit from Grandpa Rhino.

Saturday Night

It's Saturday night and Gary is tired and grumpy. But he did have a good day. He went to his Grandpa Rhino's house for lunch. After lunch he got to pick some carrots, beets, onions, and peas from his grandpa's garden.

When we got home we went next door to Marko's birthday party. Gary had fun playing with all of the balloons.

Tomorrow should be a quiet day, we currently do not have any plans.

Thursday Night

It's Thursday night and we are all doing fine. Gary had a good day, he played at Club for Kids, went to Target, and then came home to play. He is watching Blue's Clues now with his firend Briana.

We had the deck power washed and sealed. The post was also fixed.

Tomorrow Gary has hippo (and speech) therapy. He also has tennis.

Monday at the dentist

Today was dentist day for two thirds of the human population at the Kocal Colorado Cat Home. Jennifer went thus morning for the rest of her root canal. Grandpa Rhino came over and watched Gary.

In the afternoon we took Gary to the dentist where he had his teeth cleaned and checked (no cavities). He then had some sealant placed on his teeth. He has a couple of loose teeth (the dentist thinks that have about 3 months before that fall out) and some new molars are coming in.

Jennifer is napping. Sleeping off the Novocaine while Gary and I are watching Wow Wow Wubbsy.

The deck guy is coming this afternoon so I can sign the proposal and give him a deposit. The work on the deck (power wash, sand, and seal) will start on Wednesday.

Independence Day

It has been a fairly quiet Saturday. One of Jennifer's friends is passing through Denver and decided to call at 5:30 this morning to see if she could meet them for breakfast (it was too early). I was just glad it was not work and went back to bed.

I got up with Gary and fed him breakfast and watched some Disney channel with him. He eventually snuck upstairs on me and played some Star Wars.

We played outside for a bit in the afternoon and then went to Mimi's Cafe for an early dinner. It started to rain while we were there and the rain continue for a couple of hours. It looks like it may have finally stopped.

Jennifer is watching Voyager and Gary is using the force. Hopefully we will get some fireworks action in the neighborhood in a little bit after it gets a bit darker.

Quiet Friday, So Far

I'm home from work early (just a half day). Gary and Jennifer are at hippo (horse) therapy with the speech therapist. After hippo Gary is going to Club for Kids as Jennifer has a doctor's appointment.

Grandpa Rhino's Birthday

Today we went to the Aurora reservoir and had a barbecue to celebrate Gary's Grandpa Rhino's 70th birthday. We had hamburger and hot dogs to eat. Gary also got to wade in the reservoir(they have a beach for swimming) and he also played at the playground.

After we got home Gary played with his friends Justin and Mira. They had to play inside since it was raining.

Tomorrow Gary has hippo in the morning.

Quiet Sunday

It is a quiet Sunday afternoon here. We went to Barnes and Noble's and then Chipolte's with Kim before she left. When we got home Gary played Star Wars while Jennifer went back to B&N to get Gary's Leapster game which we left at the store (mission accomplished).

I watched "Black Blizzard" and napped a little while all this was going on. Now Gary is watching Max and Ruby on the tv downstairs while Jennifer is watching Star Trek Voyager on the laptop in our bedroom upstairs.

It's back to work on Monday for a four day week. I'm off on Thursday for Grandpa Rhino's birthday. I'll work some on Friday to make up for it.

Mini Family Reunion

Today was a lot of fun. Jennifer, Gary, and I drove to Vail to meet up with Uncle Paul, Aunt Kathy, and my cousins. We had a lot of fun. We went out to a ranch where we ate lunch and then watched all of the kids (except Gary) get to ride on a horse.

It was a good visit. Hopefully we won't have to wait another ten years to get together again.

Tuesday Night

It's a quiet Tuesday night here. We are all doing ok. Jennifer went and picked up her latest painting tonight while I stayed home with Gary who had a blast watching a Tom and Jerry Movie. Tomorrow we are going to Vail to meet up with Uncle Paul, Aunt Kathy, Kris, Shannon, Meghan, and their families.

Party Saturday

Gary had tennis today but was not behaving so well. He finally settled down. Then we had a birthday party to go to. There he had a great time and lots of fun. He was so well behaved it was a joy to watch him playing with all the other kids. It was held at a place that has the huge bounce houses and lots of things to keep the little ones busy. He is already a little tired. Hope he sleeps well tonight. I am tired too. On new meds makes me sleepy and a little bit of balance. but the violent body shaking has stoped. Doc says I should get use to meds soon. Hope all is well with everyone else.

Now what can we do?

This morning I got a call to see if Brianna could come over and play. She was in extra hyper mode. Gary was in extra hyper mode. So today was alot of fun. We played camp over in the living room. We had marshmellows and crackers. We also had cheese and crackers before the camp out. I had 3 play tents up. Gary and Brianna went over to her house to get the guatiar and more toys to put in the tents. Then we draged toys form one room to the other in the tents. I found food every where. Then we went outside and played in the sprinkler. Then back inside for more food and play with other toys. Then the babysitter came. I had to go to a doctors appointment. While I was gone they played marbles, computers and Pixo art projects. Then when I got home Gary went over to Briannas while I drove the babysitter home. Then we played outside on our scooters and side walk chalk. Then we made art work with beads. Then we went back outside to play. Then we went to Chickflit for dinner and played there. Then we went to the park. Then we got home and Brianna asked" What are we going to do now?" I said I am getting ready for bed sweetie, we are tired. So she went home at 8:30 and started to pick on her brother. I have taken my sleep meds and ready for bed. Can't imagine why I am tired, and my house looks like a mess.

Is it Friday yet?

It was another normal day here today. Warm weather and some afternoon showers. Jennifer went painting tonight. She is working on a night sky scene. Gary had an ok day by he did bite the lady who runs club for kids. There goes our chance for a lower rate. Oh well, he was good the rest of the day.

We are currently watching Jack's Big Music Show and then it will be off to bed.

The tooth fairy cometh

It was a busy day for me and a fun day for Gary. I was woken up by an early morning phone call from work and had to go in early. And since Monday is my late day I put in an 11.5 hour day.

Gary's day had him going to bowling in the morning, to Chick File' for lunch, then he played with some of his friends at home, and finally played on the computer.

Finally Gary fell asleep by nine. Oh, and he also lost another tooth today (we are not sure where) but the tooth fairy will be coming tonight.

Gunther Toody's for desert

It's Saturday night and Gary and Jennifer are in bed watching a little television before sleep. We just got back from a late trip out for desert. We went to Gunther Toody's. I thought that they had deserts other than shakes and malts but I was mistaken. It still worked out since I wanted a shake anyway and Jennifer was happy with a shake (hers was frozen yogart) also. Gary had a cheese burger and fries.

Gary went to his tennis lesson today, played a little bit with Briana and also played on the computer (what a surprise).

Tomorrow we are going to lunch at the Rodger's Rhino Ranch.

Friday Horse Party Day

Today was a great day for Gary at horses. He made a new friend and they rode horse together. His new friend is Jonathan. They both have High Functioning Autism and are working on learning socializing. Gary had an awsome day and spoke really clearly. He also got a new specialized riding helment to were. It is a pretty green color. He found it fun. Now he is at Club 4 Kids for awhile and I am trying to get some work done on the computer and rest. Later we will play here at home. So fun when Gary is in his happy charming moods. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Lazy Summer Day

Gary has had a fun day today. He played with the neighbors Justin and Mira. They all had a great time and then had a little picnic. Earlier he was playing with his boxing bag and helping me clean out his new play room. We have had some time to watch TV and play computers. Later I will try to go out for a walk. Nick has been keeping busy at work. .

Our new horse helment arrived today and tomorrow we will be ale to try it out. Gary as hippo at 10am and will be riding with another little boy. It should be lost of fun. His new helment is a pretty critus green- looks more like a pear green to me. So happy we finally are geting the things together that Gary needs. Hope all is well with everyone else.

Wednesday Night

It's day three of Gary's summer vacation and he is doing pretty good. He had a good session with his OT and played with a new sitter while Jennifer went to the doctor.

Monday Night

It's Monday night and we are all winding down here. Jen is lying on her heating bad and Gary is eating his bedtime snack (the ice cream and Popsicle from Baskin Robbins don't count). Hopefully he will be ready to go upstairs soon and go to bed.

Sensory Room Time

We are working on putting together a Sensory Room for Gary. This way he has all his sensory needs upstairs and has his own special place. We are installing his own computer & games now. I bought him a 70lbs boxing sand bag and boxing gloves. This is to help him redirect his aggresive behavioral instics in a more productive manner. He can hit, kick, wrestle and scratch the sand bag instead of mommy and daddy. Going to show Gary now, he keeps trying to help daddy and daddy needs some room. Have a great Sunday.

Another Movie Adventure.

Gary got to see another movie. Today we went to see the movie UP. Gary had a blast, he loved it. He was soo cute, recognizing sences form the previews. This was not a sensory friendly film, so I asked them to turn down the volumn. I had a great time too. It was nice to watch a movie with out covering up my ears the whole time. It was perfect. Afterwards we saw some Gary's classmates. Gary thought that was fun too. Now Nick is getting stuff for us to beable to set up a special play room for Gary. We are going to move the computer upstairs and I have other things like a special swing to add. Will go to the store later to get the sand bag I want for Gary.

Summer Time has begun

My parents, Nick and I were all there for Gary's Kindergarden celerbration. He had fun I think, the kids looked so cute singing songs and such. On of the Parents told me how great Gary was. He was one of the volunteer parents and has seen Gary grow this past year. He also was telling me a cute story about how smart Gary is. Gary and his son were playing with leggos and Gary built a working crank without any help. He just put the pieces together and built it. I thank the father so much for sharing this story and a good report on Gary. Gary has also gotten a certificate for reading and a free meal at the resturant Mimi's. I thought it was to late to get a year book I was fortunatly wrong. Nick got one at the school and we were sharing the photos with Gary. We all had fun eating at the BBQ.
Then Gary and I went to HIPPO. Gary did great riding Grizzle today. I took some photos and had fun. One of the horses kept walking along the fence with me and watching me. So I went over and gave him some attention. Then he moved his head so it was next to mine and gave me a head bump. So yea I made a new friend. Next week Gary will be riding with another little boy named Justin. Justin needs help socalizing and Gary help with talking clearly. It should really be fun.
Now after our busy day we are playing on the computers and resting for the day. Tomorrow we will see the movie UP. Gary is very excited about this. Me too. so long with no movies and now they are just streaming in. Good night.

Is it Summer break YET

Gary has been very wired these last few days. I have been tempted to just pull him out for the summer , but only a few days left. He got mad at his Special Needs teacher and kicked her in the leg. Then went to time out room where he decided to tear the bottom of his shirt off. So he spent the day looking like a 80's child with torn clothes. Is it summer break yet? Tomorrow will be PJ day they get to wear their PJ's and watch movies while eating popcorn. He should love that and hopefully behave himself. Summer is almost here. It has been cold and rainy here, hard to believe it is summer. I am doing fine and Nick is doing well too. I went to the dentist and will have to have root canal and a crown. No fun. We had a busy day today. Gary went to school, then Club 4 Kids and then home to play. His favorite friend Brianna has been hanging out with us and Gary has been having a blast. She leaves tomorrow on Summer break for 2 weeks to visit family in Arkansas. Lots of plans for Gary this summer. Need to signn him up for swimming lessons. He still has horse and thearpy. Well going to get him ready for bed and pray he behaves himself tomorrow at school.

Rainy Day

It was a pretty rainy day today. The type of day that is perfect sleeping weather. Which is why I slept in and went to work late. Gary throw up/spit up at school (not enough to send him home) but they had to change his shirt. That meant I had to stay home a little bit longer and wait by the phone in case the school called while Jennifer ran some errands.

Jennifer did cancel Gary's appointment with Dr. Rydell.

Tomorrow at school is bubble day. Thursday is movie and popcorn day. Finally Friday is his last day of kindergarten.

The PTO is sponsoring a barbecue (hot dogs and chips) Friday for lunch at school. Jennifer, Grandma Rosemary, Grandpa Rhino, and I are all planning on attending.

Yesterday was great seeing Star Trek was so much fun. I had a Doctors appointment today so my dad picked Gary up from school. Then we all had lunch together at Nicole's Pizza. Yummy Yummy. Gary seems to be having a good day so far. He had to wear a funny hat for school today. I took his black cowboy hat and covered it with little stickers that were numbers and letters. Just 4 more days then Summer Break and off to 1st grade. Wow.
We are doing good here. It is rainny and we are having fun being a little lazy. Hope all is well with you.

Sunday Night

It's Sunday night and we are all winding down here. Jennifer and I went to see the new Start Trek movie and Gary had a new babysitter (Jamie) watch him. Jamie is going into the ninth grade and is the daughter of one of Jennifer's lunch bunch friends.

Movie time for mom and dad

Yea. We are just waiting for our new teenage babysitter. Then off to the movies for me and Nick we are going to see Star Trek. I am soo excited. Gary is excited too he gets some one new to play with. We know Jamie from our Lunch Bunch group. So should be a fun day for everyone. Well Jamie just got here so off I am. Hope everyone else has just as much fun today as we will.

Friday Night

Gary did well tonight but I think he is not feeling 100%. He fell asleep around nine and then work up around ten. Jennifer sat with him in the recliner in his bedroom and he was soon back asleep. He feels a little warm but I took his temperature and he does not have a fever. We'll probably take it easy again tomorrow. Sunday we have a babysitter so Jen and I can go see the new star trek movie.

Summer Fever

I think my son has summer fever. He was doing very well tis week. He had a great day on Monday, sat really well for us at lunch time. Then he had a great time at school on Tuesday and a good time at Dr. Rydell's. Dr. Rydell was very proud of Gary's progress. He has truly come a long was since his first visit 3 years ago. Then yesturday was another good day. He was getting squirrelly with Miss Nicki, but over all did good. He is just getting overly excited. Summer time is deffinatly in the air. We had our Lunch Bunch picnic yesterday. We had so much fun. The kids played with bubbles and on the playground. Had lots of food and great company. It will be the last school day lunch picnic for the Kindies since next year they will be in 1st grade. Hard to believe they have grown up so fast. We have been a part of this play group for 3 years now. Goin miss everyone. But lots of plans for play time this summer. I am going to try and have some play dates at our home. Some moms said their little ones are still talking about how much fun they had at our home. BBQ and fun at the Kocals!
Gary had a rough day today at school. I really think he is just to excited. But will have to talk to him about annoying the other kids and not going to time out. I am also going to talk with the Prinicple so we are all on working the same to help Gary with his emotions. Better to talk now and get everything on a good track. Then latter when Gary is in big trouble.
Gary has done great her at home today. He has been playing computer games and leaving them to go outside and play. He has walked away twice from the computer for me today with no fights. He had a great time playing with his little friends outside today. Then the others had to go in. But hopefully his classemates that live close by will be over later and we will all play some more. Wednesday Night

It was a good day for Gary. He had a good day at school. He played with his "lunch bunch". It was there last meeting of the year. Finally he did well with his OT today.

Lunch Time with Old Friends

We had lunch today with an old friend of Nick's Kelly and her Aunt Sara. It was a very nice time. I really enjoyed making new friends. Gary was very well behaved. We were there for about 2 hours. Then came home and Gary played his computer games. Then we ate dinner and now watching TV. Nick took the day off to see his friends and I had fun having Nick home another day. I did some more yard work. If all goes well, I should have beautiful flowers growing in my yard this year. We have had lots of rain all weekend.

Yesterday we went to my mom's for lunch. My cousins Karen, Lynn and James were there. We toured my dad's garden this year. We had a great time. Gary had fun playing in Grandpa garden as always. Been a great Memorial Day weekend for us. Back to work for all tomorrow. Nick at work, Gary at school, me doing housework. Fun Fun

It's Movie Time

Today was our big day. Gary has been looking forward to today and he did great at the movies. I am soo excited. He sat and watched the whole movie. He was very happy sitting next to Daddy eating popcorn and watching his movie. I was so proud and excited, I was the one who had a hard time sitting still. I kept looking over at Gary and just bursting with happiness. He looked like anyother kid just watching a Movie. Wow he is growing up so fast. He did great until Mommy kept reaching over to grab his hands. Then he gave up and wanted to sit next to Mommy. So he was good I was bad. We all enjoyed watching Night at The Museum 2. Now I just need to rent the first one.

After the movie we went to eat lunch and then off to Tennis lessons. Gary had an awesome time at tennis. He was hitting almost every ball over the net. He also was hitting moving balls. He was so happy today. He did get tired after all the stimulation. So now he is having his down time. But I am one very proud mommy tonight. Hope U all have a great Memorial Day.

Almost Bedtime

It's late Friday night and I hope I am still the only one up. Gary and Jennifer are upstairs in the "big bed" watching Spy Kids 3 and I am going through email that I need to save.

Gary had a mixed day at school but a good day at Hippo. He went to Club 4 Kids for a while and Jennifer and I had a nice quiet dinner and did some grocery shopping.

Tomorrow Gary is going to his first movie in a theater and then has his tennis lesson.

Cloudy and Lazy

Gary had a fun day at school today. He ran with the rest of the school in a fundraiser. I think it was a 5k kinda thing. The kids just ran around laps until they were done. I did not get to see the fun, because it was at 9am. I was afraid that Gary would want to go home afterwards if he saw me. But heard about all the fun. Gary even got a T- shirt. Fun fun.

Now we are just being lazy. Gary is playing on the computer and I am getting caught up on my computer stuff, email, blogs Face Book etc. It is very cloudy here and much cooler. about 56 right now. Nice break form the 88 and 92 the last few days. I will try to get Gary off the computer soon and we will do something. Hope everyone is having a great day.

Fun Day

Gary had an awsome time today. He played outside with the neighbor girl Mira and had fun. We played chase, hide in seek and even got some ice cream from the ice cream truck. Then Gary picked a flower for his mommy. It was so cute, but the flower was from my other neighbors yard. Then Macy form Gary's class came by. She happens to live only a few blocks away. Her and her younger brother played with us. Then Macy was running and fell down and scraped her knee. She was upset and said it hurt. So Gary went and picked another tulip and then handed it to Macy to make her fell better. That was super cool and sweet. How precious is that my boy gave her a flower because she was unhappy. Too cute. I don't know if my other neighbor will find it as cute. So Gary had a great day. He even did well with Miss. Nicki. Tomorrow they are having a Fox Trot. or run / walk fund raiser for the school. I signed a permision slip for Gary to just walk along. I will try to be there to help with some of the classes and walk with Gary and some other kids. Should be interesting. Well me and Gary are very sleepy. Good night . Enjoy the flowers in your life.

Tuesday

Jennifer had her physical today so I left work early so that I could pick Gary up after school and then take him to his appointment with Dr. Rydell. Jennifer finished her appointment so she was able to meet us for lunch. Gary did pretty good at his appointment.

We are all now home. Jennifer is pretending to do some yard work, Gary is playing on the computer (Jimmy Neutron), and I am getting ready to leave for a dentist appointment (just a cleaning).

Manic Monday

Gary did not have a great day at school today. He was kicking and stabed his Paraprofesional with a pencil. So I sat on the ground with him and talked about his day. They had donuts in the classroom and he missed getting some because he was in time out. So he was still fixed on getting donuts. So we sat there and talked about how he missed the donuts. How kicking and hitting was not being good. We talked about what being good would look like. Then we talked about what we could do to earn a donut. I told him he could not have the donuts at school, but could earn a donut from Lamars. So I told him all the things he needed to do to earn a donut. First we went back inside the school. We appoligized to Miss Jesica and promised not to hurt her tomorrow. We went home and had to put away our back pack and go potty in the potty chair like a big boy. We had to pee in the little green cup ( yes I have still been trying to get the sample for the Doctor's office). Then he got to go to Lamars and pick out his donut.

Now he is behaving just fine. He has been very good and sweet. I hope he has a good day tomorrow. but at least he looked at me and listened to what makes a good boy and what makes a bad boy. This is a great start. We use to not beable to get him to understand or even care about his behavior. Even regular 6 year olds don't always say sorry when they are wrong or sit and talk about their behavior. So I think we will have a good day for the rest of today. It is already in the 80's and only 1 pm. Hot hot hot.

Sunny Sunday

Been having a lazy day today. Gary is happy playign on the computer. I did do alot of yard work earlier then got to hot. Now playing on the computer too. Nick is resting, I slept in. There is just 3 weeks left of school. Hard to believe summer is here and Gary will be in 1st grade before I know it. Wow the time has flown. Having fun resting. Been having a busy week. Next week will be busy too. It is time for physicals and need some dental work done. Gary is having fun with his horse therapy. He has been able to ride Poptart. He really likes it. This summer he will be busy with therapies, swimming leasons and tennis. He has also been having fun playing with the neighbors in the afternoon. Have a great day.

Saturday

It's been a good Saturday so far. Jennifer went to a Jewelry party an I took Gary to tennis. After tennis Gary and I went to McDonald's for a bit.

Gary did great at tennis. He hit forehand and backhand volleys.

Interesting Day

My interesting day started with Gary standing in his walk in closet reaching for clothes. He had already taken off his PJ pants and was trying to find clothes for the day. He has never done that before. WOW what a growth. My baby is a big boy now. After picking out his clothes we had breakfast. He went potty like a big boy then went outside to wait for the School bus.
While Gary was at school I had breakfast with my new friend Tersa. We both have families in the North Carolinas. Her son Jacob is in Gary's class. Whie we were talking we found out that we are distante cousins. Wow. Looking into more Genology to see who eles we have in common.
After school Gary played computer games before going to the Doctors for our yearly check up. While at the doctors I found out later that there was a bear spotted across the street form the Doctors office. So while I am trying to convince a 6 year old to pee in a cup, a bear is roaming around the open space not far form the Doctors office. The bear was 1.7 miles away form our drive way. Yes I decide after the bear was gone to see just how far away it really is.
Also since Gary would not pee in the cup at the Doctors I decided he might be better off at home. So I got to play the pee in the cup game at home. Gary would start to pee, I would hold the cup. Gary would say No. I no pee in cup. Gary would stop peeing. I would remove the cup. Then Gary would start to pee again. I would place the cup and Gary woud stop again. And to think I will probable get to try this again tomorrow. They don't think I got enough. Fun Fun times of being a MOM.

So my son picked out his own clothes. My new friend is my distant cousin. There was a bear in my neighborhood. And my son does not want to pee in the cup. Yep an interesting day.

Mother's Day

We had a nice Mother's Day here. Jennifer's parents came over for lunch bringing pizza. We had strawberry shortcake for desert. Gary had a good day also. He played Batman, watched some television, and played outside with Karl and Ilija.

Sunny Saturday

Hi everyone. It is fun to be back. I had fun last weekend in KC. Gary has had an up and down week. We have been extra busy this week. He is happy playing Computer games. Then around 1 pm today he goes off to Tennis lessons. He likes them and it is so much help for him. It is an interesting way to utilize all the other Therapys. He will make a fuss going but have fun once he gets there.

I am looking forward to just a nice resting day. No other big plans. Gary got to ride Poptart yesterday. I did some yard work. I have finished all my paper work for the adoption classes. I just have to get my CPR training and Physicals done. Then clean up the house, organize the clutter and Bring on the home study. Hopefully we will have a new family member by Christmas. It would be nice to give a child a family for Christmas.

Thursday

It's Thursday night and we are finally winding down here. Gary and Jennifer are hopefully asleep. Jennifer and I went to class number six. Two more plus a make-up, a little more paperwork, my fingerprints and then bring on the home study.

Gary had fun with his baby sitter while we were in class. She said he ate well, played Batman for a while, and then came upstairs for her without a fight. They were watching Spongebob when we got home for class.

Tomorrow Gary has school and the speech therapy combined with hippo therapy.

Home Sweet Home

I had a great time in Kansas City but also very happy to be back home. Gary had an awesome day today. He had a fantastic session with Dr. Pat. He was following directions and paying attention and calm. It was fun to see him acting like any other 6 six old. Then we went to our play area Little Monkey Business where he played really well with the other children. He even put his shoes in the cubby holder like the other kids do. That was the first time he put his shoes where all the other kids put there shoes. It seems small but for us is really a big deal. There is so much to say but Gary is getting restless and it is getting late. So I will write more later. Good night everyone.

Mommy's Back

Gary stayed home from school today as he had a little stomach flu. He has lots of energy just some loose stool (yuchy). After too ichy pull-ups this morning I decided to keep him home.

Jennifer is back home after her trip to KC. Gary did look up from his game to acknowledge her. I went and got him, he paused the game and did not fight at all (or very little). He was then happy to see his mommy.

Sunday Night, The Boys are all Right

We spent a quiet day at home. He played some computer games, played across the street for a bit, and also played with Christine down the street.

We went to Fatburger for dinner. Then watched Wishology part III. He took his bath and is now eating his bedtime snack. He has school tomorrow and after school we will go to the airport to pick up Jennifer.

Boys weekend, continued

We are back inside. Gary played on his scooter for a while and swung on the swing at Justin and Mira's. Mira came out for a while and played with Gary.

We are now back inside and Gary is playing Monster vs. Aliens. He did not play it yesterday which was a good break.

Saturday Morning

It was a quiet Saturday morning here that start at 7:30 (oh well, Gary was asleep by 9:15 Friday night). We have spent the day so far eating breakfast (Gary cereal, me home made french onion soup), watching some TV, playing Disney computer games, and now eating lunch (Gary is having mini corn dogs, I will have leftover chicken nuggets).

We just started watching Shrek and I am about to lose the computer again, so I'm off to eat lunch.

Friday Night with the Boys

Gary has had a good day today. He had a thumbs up day at school and a good session of speech therapy (hippo therapy). He rode Cowboy today.

After speech we went to King Soopers for some milk and bread. I made French onion soup. We also had BLTs.

Gary had fun watch the Fairly Odd Parents "Wishology Part I".

While he did play on my laptop today (Nick Jr. Games), he has not played any Monsters vs Aliens.

Tomorrow is Saturday, hurrah for weekends.

Thursday Night

Gary is now asleep, Jennifer is in KC, and I am watching a little TV and eating a snack. Gary and I've had a good afternoon. Gary played his computer game, played with Karissa, and watched Cars with Brandon. We had chicken nuggets for supper.

It's Boy's Weekend.

Jennifer is off to KC and Gary and I are chillin out. I took Jen to the airport, picked Gary up from school, we went to lunch, and we are now watching Tom and Jerry.

Just Hi

Hi everyone. Gary has been having an interesting time today. He has been in his I am going to do the oppisite of what you tell me to do just because mood. I love him but days like today he can be a little pistel. He is happy at the moment playing computer games. He was very me, me, me today with Dr. Pat and school. He will be fine, we just have to teach him that he is not the boss or the king. Although he is convinced that he is the King. Oh well I love my Prince Charming Pain In the Butt.

Well I better go the Prince is calling.. I am so glad I get to go painting tonight.

Snow in Spring

I was quite surprise to wake up to 4 inches of snow today. Then the sun came out and now almost all gone. Gary was a bit off this morning too with all the snow. But he is doing great now. He got to Mc Donalds for lunch then off to get his hair cut. Now playing then off to Club 4 Kids and I will go cooking at Supper Solutions. Nick can pick Gary up later. I will be leaving this weekend to see my best friend form college in Kansas City. Should be lots of fun. Been so busy here forgot about my plane plans. Lucky I remember in time. I leave Thrs. We are all doing great here. Gary has his picnic play date on Wed. Dr. Pat tomorrow. Then daddy can take Gary to horse on Fri. Yesterday was fun at the Zoo, Gary just loves to run at the Zoo instead of looking at the animals.

Zoo Day

We all just got back from the zoo and then dinner on Bono's Barbeque. We had a pretty good time at the zoo. Gary liked the penguins (he counted 15 of them) and he also liked watching the otters swim.

We brought his wagon so he could ride around and he had fun doing that. He just thought that Mommy was too slow so he and Daddy went ahead while Mommy followed behind with some friends that we met there.

Now Gary is playing Monsters vs Aliens. Jennifer just finished her shower and is now playing on the computer.

Saturday Evening

I was having fun working with my rose bushes when the neighbors boys came runing through. The kids had fun playing in our backyard. The boys liked Gary's climbing toy. Then Gary saw the boys and I had 5 boys playing in our backyard. Soo much fun. There was Karl, Ilija, Marco and baby Matia. Malia came by too so had fun adult talk too. I really enjoyed watching everyone play and I got a lot of yard work done. The boys moved inside and then eventual went back home. Gary is now having fun playing his new computer game. Nick is on the computer too. Now we can all be in the basement with computers. Poor Nick his safe haven has been infested by family. I will be going off to bed in a little while. Just wanted to tell everyone how much fun we had.

Saturday Afternoon

We are having a nice and lazy Saturday afternoon. It is a little chilly here so we are just watching some TV and waiting for Gary's new game to load.

We went to lunch at Five Guys Hamburger and then went to Target. At Target Jennifer lost her keys but fortunately someone found them and turned them into the lost and found.

Jennifer is outside trimming her rose bushes. I'm probably going to go back out in a bit to get some milk.

TGIF

Hi all.
Well this is the end of a long and fun week. Marty and Elaine left on Wed. then the weather decided to be warm. Oh Well. I had so much fun with my Volunteer work this week. I worked on Thrsday and Friday. Kindergarden is such a fun age. I really enjoy volunteering in the classroom. Gary rode a horse today. He does like this horse riding. We just need to figure out where to get a riding helment. Gary has also been able to play with all his friends. They have all enjoyed playing on Gary's new climbing toy outside. Now Gary has a slide, a little house, sand box, picnic table and jungle bars. Should be enough to keep him busy and happy. Gary pick out a book titled " The Visitor" from the library. Everyone thought that was quite cute. And yes he read the title himself. He is downstairs watching TV. We are all tired and ready for a fun weekend. Sunday we are going to the Zoo.

Long Day

It's been a long day and I will soon be off to bed. I took Mom and Dad to the airport early this morning and then went to work.

Gary had a good day at school and with Miss Nikki. Jennifer had a pretty good day also.

Happy Birthday Day

Today was my Dad's and Gary's birthday. Gary went to school and to Dr. Pat's while my dad went golfing. I went to work.

Everyone had a good day. I grilled steaks for dinner. We had some chocolate cake for dessert. Then Jennifer went painting.

Tomorrow is an early morning as I am taking Mom and Dad to the airport (we will try to leave around 5:15 AM).

Gary B-Day Party

Hi all, Gary had a good birthday. His little friend Connor had a good time I think. He was so cute he wrote a Birthday card for Gary. He wrote about them being best friends until the end of time. Tooo cute. Then all the neighbors kids were here too. Toys scattered around the house, kids laughing and playing. We made our own cake, had chicken nuggets, chips and fruit. I think all had a great time.

Connor and I went sleding for awhile. Gary really wanted to open his presents. Once he calmed down he had fun playing with everyone. Then he forgot about the presents.

Today we will eat lunch at my mom's house and then find something to do.

Birthday Party Sunday

Today was Gary's little birthday party and he had a pretty good time. He got off to a slow start because he wanted to play with one of his new toys right away but the toy was too many parts for use during a party. Once he settled down he had a lot of fun playing.

April Snow brings May flowers?

Hi all, we are still getting snow here. It is 4pm Sat. and snow started Thursday. We will be able to have Gary's party tomorrow. Nick and Kocals are at the grocey store. If they can't find the few items we need we have plenty of food to feed everyone. It will be the birthday, snow day, eat whatever's in the frig. party. I love snow but would have been happier seen this stuff on a different weekend. But I am finally not worried about an extrem drought this spring and summer. All the seasons seem to be late this year. I think Mom and Dad are having an OK time. Well not much else to say but where is that snow shovle.

Snowsday Night?

It was closed to 70 yesterday and it is 35 and rainy tonight. It is expected to turn to snow by morning. Gary had a good day today. So did my parents. Jen and I finished week three of the adoption classes.

Now it it time to get ready for bed.

Family fun

I all we are doing great here. yesterday Gary had an awsome time with Dr. Pat. He was able to follow directions even though you could see he wanted to do his own thing. Dr. Pat is very proud of Gary's progress.

He had a good day at school today. Afterwards was picnic time with our lunch bunch. He played really well with the other children. We were there for about 1 1/2 hours. Now he is getting his well desevered down time playing Lego Star Wars computer game. We are waiting for Miss Nicki to arrive and Occupational Therapy time. Then the patient wait for Mama and Dad Kocal.
Busy day.

Tomorrow we will take Grandma to school and I will volunteer with my Kindergarden class. Papa will be invited to go to school and see his grandson too. Then it will be free time. I may take everyone to The Wildlife Experience. Not sure.

Firday is horse day and school. So it will be fun showing grandparents how well we ride our horse. Also a school day.

Saturday is our friends Birthday Party and may be brunch at my mom's house.

Sunday is Gary's Birthday Party.

Monday Gary has off from school. We will have to go some where fun.

I am so excieted to have Nick's family visit.

Hi All:

Gary and Jennifer are in bed and I will soon join them. I was woken up at 4:30 AM by a phone call from work and had to go in early. Monday also happens to be my late day as I have a 4:30 PM meeting. So I will soon be off to sleep.

Easter

Happy Easter everybody. We had a pretty good Easter here. Gary had fun going through his Easter basket and ate the ears off of two chocolate bunnies with his breakfast. He got the Wall E computer game and it actually runs on my laptop. He played the game before we went to the Rodger's for lunch. Our cousins Karen and Lynn were also there. We all had a good time.

Saturday before Easter

We're all having a pretty good day here. Gary did have a melt down on Jennifer when she wouldn't get him some Moon Sand at Target. After he calmed down and then we went to lunch at Fuddruckers.

After lunch we went to the bowling alley for a birthday party. Gary did really well there. They have rails that little kids can use to help them roll the ball down the alley.

After the party he played a little bit on his new computer game (Lego Star Wars). We went across the street for dinner and Gary jumped on their trampoline.

Gary and I are both home now while Jennifer is still across the street singing karaoke.

on the saddel again

Gary had a fantastic day. He really likes riding the school bus and has his own special seat with blue streamers. He started HIPPO- Horse Therapy today. We have not been able to ride a horse for 6 months. Gary was really excited to get back on the horse and had a fabelous time. He looks so cute on the horse. I made a record time at the Social Security office today. Got there at 8:30 thinking I would miss the rush wrong. Luckly I was out by 9:30. I had to go an make sure that SS had my correct birth date. So I just went to the window handed my birth certificate and Drivers Licence and SSN. Then yep all correct and have a great day. I make the SS employee very happy. He had been having a rough week and need an easy break. When we were doing our taxes my B-day was wrong will have to check the IRS to make sure all is correct there. Wait isn't the IRS always right? Well we have had a good and busy day here.
