Monday

It was a fairly quiet Monday. Gary is on spring break and played most of the day at home. He did go to Club 4 Kids for a little bit. Tuesday he has his appointment with Dr. Rydell. Wednesday is his Lunch Bunch Easter egg hunt. Of course we are supposed to get some more snow Wednesday. Snow on the ground does make the eggs easier to hide, you just drop the eggs in the snow.

Sunday

Colorado weather, gotta love it. We had a blizzard Thursday that left close to a foot of snow for Friday. Saturday the roads were clear and dry. Today it is 61 and I grilled some steaks outside.

We're all doing OK here. Jennifer's asthma did not act up today. Gary had a good day and has been doing well on spring break.

On Saturday we watched the premier of "The Penguin's of Madagascar".

Winter had arrived

Hey all. Here is my week so far. Monday Asthma kicked my butt, was rough day. Tuesday I kicked Asthma and was doing better. Wensday was tie, did ok as long as I didn't walk too much. Thursday went to the specialist got a great get back to health plan and started new meds. Doing much better today. I only had to take 2 breathing treatments. My lungs are getting close to being 100% clear. I would say I am about 70% back today. But I get better each day. Gary had fun playing his Batman game. He is wearing a one piece Batman PJ and playing . He had fun watching the snow and hope to beable to do some sleding in the back yard tomorrow. I think I could walk a couple of times up the hill.

Nick spent his day driving home form work almost 3 hours because of traffic and snow. It took me 45 mins to drive to my Doctors today a drive that takes normaly 5 to 10 minutes. Mine was some traffic and very low visibility. But have to get this asthma back under control. Now we are all happy in our home nice and warm. And feeling much better. Lots of Love ( LOL)

Wednesday Night

Gary had a good day today. He play Batman (what's new) and then had a good session with his occupational therapist. Jennifer is slowly starting to feel better. As long as she takes it slowly, she does fine.

Another Fine Night

It's Tuesday night and we are all winding down. Gary had a busy playing playing Batman while his Grandpa Rhino watched him. Jennifer spent the day doing the doctor thing. She also had another x-ray. She sounds better today but she has to go slow.

Monday

It was a quiet Monday. I went to work and Jennifer went to the chiropractor. Jennifer also took Gary to Chuck E. Cheese's for a meet up with his lunch bunch. After Chuck E. Cheese's Gary stayed with the Rios' while Jennifer went to her appointment.

Gary played Batman in the afternoon and then ate really well at supper (a taco).

Tomorrow Jennifer has another doctor's appointment. She's still trying to get her asthma under better control. She is breathing easier tonight after her last nebulizer treatment.

Sunday

Today was a quiet day. Gary stayed home and played. He played for a while with Karissa and Casey. He also played his Batman game. We also went outside for a while and kicked a ball around and then watered the trees in the backyard.

Jennifer went to an art guild meeting and rested. Her asthma is still really slowing her down.

Tomorrow Gary has a lunch bunch play date at Chuck E. Cheese's and Jennifer goes to the chiropractor. I'm back to work. Where did the weekend go.

Party central

Well I took care of the moring here. Gary was up by 7:30am. We hung out until aobut 11am. Then off to a play called Monkey business. His firend Nico had his B-Day party. They had a balst. I wish I had my camera. There were huge bouncy toys and a 2 to 3 stroy climbing wall and other climbing toys. I think there were maybe 20 some little ones. I couldn't tell the play things were so huge you couldn't see in them. I barly new where Gary was. I just heard laughter and the occuassional zoom. I was good didn't climb, slide or run with the kids. Trying to rest my asthma. It is kicking my butt right now. After the kids played then it was off to another room for cake, pizza and fruit cups. Then party favores and more fun. Gary had an awsome day. He plays so well with the other children now. Now problems today at all. What a different kid form a year ago. We got home at 2 pm and I took a nap. Then up for dinner. Doing some computer stuff and off to bed. I am a tired girl today. Nick will have to fill in the rest of the day and night.

TGIF

It's Friday night and Jennifer has gone up to bed. I will hopefully be following shortly with Gary. I am now also on antibiotics and spent most of the day in bed.

Grandpa Rhino came over today and stayed with Gary after school so that Jennifer and I could rest. Gary has a little bit of a cough (very little chance of us getting any cough medicine into him) but has tons of energy. He is just finishing up his bedtime snack and is bouncing around while we watch Jack Big Music Show.

Tomorrow he has a birthday party at Little Monkey Business. He is also now on spring break.

Coughing Cat Home

Now everyone has some sort of interesting cough. Me and Nick are barking wich is not acceptabe in a Cat Catsle. Gary has the clearing your throught cough. Even Siruis has been snezzing. I think as so as I get well enough I will have to do some serious house cleaning.

Good news. My sinus infection seems to be gone. I had good energy today. But still spent time resting. Gary has only one more day of school then spring break. So we can work on getting ride of his cough. Nick will finally go see his Doctor and see whats going on. I hope I didn't get him sick again. I am still sleeping in the spare bed room with my quartine set up. Try not to get anyone else in the house sick. But I do feel better. Still have the lingering pnemoia crud. One more day than rest for sleep in times will be ours.

Bright side. Gary is having more and more fun at school. His reconizing his special classmeet. I am so happy with the kindness and comoradory at his school. We saw Conner today. There was an adorable little girl that was happy to see Gary and the two got the giggles. He started with a happy beet. Then got company afther school. My parternts were there to take him to lunch and help be out so I could get a nap. My new neighbor Rose need some one to watch her two daughters. The are age 9 years and 2 year very cute and sweet. I really enjoy having them hang out. It actually make my job so much easier and happier. Gary loves playing with both of them too and finds it an exciting time to have kids playing at his house. They all played very well to gether. So Gary has had an awsome week. Had good on target school days. And I am on the road to getting better. Not the road to Skyridge hosptial. But still keep us in your prayers and Garndama please as Our beloved Mother Mary to watch over me and help me find my strenght to do the work that needs done and get well 110% I am on the path to a well recover. LOL Good day for Gary and fum for me to be with family and cute little girls. Love to All and To all A good night.

Sick day

Hi everyone I am not doing so great- Doc says Walking Pnemonia. Nick says " sit on your but pnemonia" I say " get the !@##@! oout of my body" pnemonia.

Nick stayed home today to help with Gary and my parents will be able to help the rest of the week. Nick and Gary are both doing great.

Harvey, Roxy, Coco, and Sirus are helping to take care of their sick mommy. Sleeping on the bed, purring, following mommy, feed me mommy now nap time mommy. I think Nick write tonight too. I have tons of meds and hope hope to be better soon. Will keep everyone posted.
Marcy has fun taking care of mommy too we eat together and sit and watch TV downstairs.

Again Nick and Gary good. me not so. the cats happy.

Will these illnesses never end

Jennifer is still sick. She went to the doctor today and they had her get an x-ray in case she has walking pneumonia. It is going around here. She is still waiting for the x-ray results. She is on antibiotics and she has cough medicine. She spent most of the day resting.

I stayed home and took Gary to school and then I went to work for a couple of hours while he was there. I ran my Wednesday meeting and got all of my daily logs done before I had to leave to get Gary.

Gary had a thumbs up day at school. After I picked up Gary we went to lunch at Fazoli's. He had a piece of pizza, some of my spaghetti, some of my chicken parmesan, and some bread sticks. He also had some chocolate chip cookie.

When we got home he played his Batman game for a little bit and also hung out with his daddy.

Tomorrow I am taking Gary to school and his Grandpa Rhino will pick him up after school and help Jennifer watch him.

Dentist Day

It Tuesday night and Gary is eating his snack. Jennifer is still not feeling well. She has another doctor's appointment tomorrow morning.

Gary had a good day at school and at Dr. Pat's. He then got to play for a while at Club 4 Kids while Jennifer rested.

I went to work and the came home long enough to get my tape player and then went off to the Dentist. I had the royal treatment as I was prepared for another crown.

Tomorrow I will go to work in the morning and then come home in time to pick Gary up from school. I'll then hang out with Gary so that Jennifer can get some more rest.

It's been in the 60s (and almost 70s) here. We really did not get much of a winter here. Only a couple of snows so it has been really dry. Luckily the snowpack is around average so we shouldn't have a drought the summer.

Monday's Suck

Today Gary went to school, played his Lego Batman game, played outside a little bit, bounced around, played Lego Batman some more, ate pretty well, and bounced around even more. Jennifer on the other hand went to the doctor and got medicine for a sinus infection that is also aggravating her asthma. I came home from work in time to pick up Gary from school and watched him today so Jennifer can rest.

Tomorrow I have a dentist appointment and Gary has school. Hopefully the antibiotics will be kicking in and Jennifer will be feeling better.

Party Day

Today was a fun day of birthday parties. First we had a lovly lunch for my mom. I think she had a great time. I know I did. We had sandwiches, fruit salad and vegies. Nick had fun cooking and perparing, he really did a great job as always we had enough food to feed the neighborhood, good fun family times.

Then we went to Chucky Cheese for Gary's classmate Liam's B Day. What fun that was. I got to see my friend Thersa and made new friends. I had fun helping pour drinks for the kids and cleaning up. Liam's family was very appericative. They told me I really didn't need to clean up and I told them I have been apart of the hospitaltiy business for 20 years it is a hard habit to break. I meet another family whose son really likes Gary. The two boys spend a lot of time together durning the day. His name is Conner. Conner's mom said that Conner is always talking about Gary and the fun times they have. Conner is aparently a good helper with Gary. Made me so happy to see Gary with his classmates and hearing such cute stories. I am very happy Gary has his little helper. Everyone knew Gary at the party and seemed to really like him. This was a very good day for me. Even if I had to spend it at Chucky Cheese.

Now getting ready for bed. Should be sleeping right now but had to share our fun day with all of you. Especially the friendship stories about Gary.

Cute bed time story:

Gary has a loli pop and does not want to give it to the teacher. It is time for rescess. All the adults are trying to get the loli pop and no deal. Conner turns to Gary and says " Hey Gary lets go out and play. Come on and play with me. Can I have your loli pop". Gary gives his loli pop to Conner. Conner gives the loli pop to the teacher and off the two go and play.
I asked Conner's mom if I could Conner was available to help me out. Ha Ha

Friday

Another Friday night and everyone is asleep, before 10. Gary had the day off from school and went to the Wildlife Experience to meet his speech therapist. After that he went to Club 4 Kids for a while. He came home and played his new Lego Batman game. He likes the game even though he does not understand its goal. He did like blowing up Robin.

After his snack he took a bath and then went to bed (around 9:00). Jennifer is playing on her computer and will shortly being going to bed. Tomorrow Gary has tennis. Jennifer is going to a Nuggets game with her brother.

I am going to get the grill ready on Saturday so I can cook lunch on Sunday as it is Rosemary's birthday. Tom's birthday was last week.

Busy Week

Hi All,

It has been a very busy week for me. I went in Wednesday for teeth cleaning and end up needing major dental work. I am doing great. Now I can chew on my left side again and all it took was two replaced fillings and another cavity filled. Then I will have to fix the fractured tooth. Gary has been doing well and keeping busy too. He and his friends have had a great time together. His new hang outs are Karissa and Kayce. They live cross the street from us. I fixed everyone dinner the other night. Then I got a call from my cousin Karen she needed me to go with her to a fundraiser for her son James. So when I saw James coach I teased him about James getting extra credit for his cousin being there. James did get the credit. Kim was with us for the night and part of Thursday, then she was off to hang out with friends in Wyoming. On Thursday I had a friend over for coffee. Wendy and I had a great time. Then I went off to Volunteer at Fox Creek with the cute Kindergardeners. Then after school lunch with Nick, Kim, me and Gary. Today Gary and I spent the morning watching TV then off to The Wildlife Experience. Where we meet with Karen his Speech Specialist. After wards Gary went to Club 4 Kids and I played catch up with the computer. Now getting ready for bed. Gary is sleeping and I will soon follow.

Thursday Morning

The last couple of days have been quiet. I've been working. Jennifer is doing well and Gary has too. He's been doing good in school (one day he was a little rowdy). He did well with Dr. Rydell and with with his OT. he played with the hockey stick I got him and has been playing with his friends from across the street. He also still loves to play games on the computer.

Monday

Today was a long day at work for me and a long day at play for Gary. Gary played with Brandon, Briana, Karissa, and Casey. He watched videos, played on his computer, and jumped on a trampoline. Finally he played at McDonalds. Tomorrow it is back to school.

Almost Bed time

This is just a quick note to say good night. We all had a pretty good day. We went to target for a little bit and then went to Country Buffet for luch with Gary, Rosemary, Karen, Lynn, and James. After lunch we watch "Tom and Jerry: The Magic Ring". After the movie we all went outside where Gary played a little Tee Ball.

He then play a while with Marco. While I ran to the store Jennifer and Gary went across the street to play.

Gary is off school tomorrow but I have to go to work.

Is it snowing yet

It is Saturday afternoon and everyone here is relaxing. Gary just got from his tennis lesson and is eating a snack. Jennifer is resting. We are hoping that the snow will knock out the dust in the area that is aggravating her allergies. I just cleaned the house filter so I hope that will also help.

Gary wants the laptop so I'll say bye for now.

Thursday

Its Thursday night and Gary and I are playing on our laptops. Gary has the newer laptop and I am using the one that is older than Gary. We're all doing okay here except for the lingering colds. Gary is the only one that doesn't seem to be effected.

Gary had a great day at school today and then had a good time at Club 4 Kids. This afternoon Karissa and Casey came over to play with Gary. Karissa is nine and Casey is a toddler. Gary had a good time. For the most part Gary plays really well with other kids.

Windy Wednesday

Today was a very windy day but also lots of fun. After school Gary and I went to a picnic with our Lunch Bunch group. Gary played on the slide and had a great time with his buddies. I had fun visiting with the other adults. Great to see my friends too. After about 1 1/2 hours it was time to go home. Miss Nicki came today and we had our best session in weeks. We got a lot of work out of Gary. He has fun playing with Miss Nicki and learning. Now we are all resting. Busy day. The wind has made me tired and I think I got some sun burn and chaped skin form the wind. All in all a great day.

blog correction

I just noticed that I wrote a sentence really wrong. Our waitress's son in law said they could not move with out her. The couple said they could not imagine living in Tennasse with out Bonnie. So it was a package deal they all moved or all stayed.

Busy Tuesday

Nick and Gary are off to Slumber land and I will follow shortly. I had a good day today. I had breakfast with a new friend her name is Tersa and her son Jacob and Gary are in the same class and are friends as well. It was a nice breakfast. We dropped the boys off and then had a great time visiting. After a thumbs up day at school Gary and I went to lunch at Dennys. We go there almost every Tuesday before his therapy with Dr. Pat. Our regular waitress told us that today was her last day. She is moving to Tennasse with her daughter, son in law and 4 month old grandson. The son in law said they could move with out her. Very touching. They bought her a house and the family will live on 15 acers of land. I am very happy for Bonnie she is a very lovly lady who has been working very hard for a long time. I wil miss her but so happy to know that she will be living a much better life. Hum wait tables at Dennys or watch your only grandchild grow up. No brainer. The grandchild.

Gary had a great session with Dr. Pat. We worked on a game that tested Gary's ability to say words and different phonics. Gary was able to say the words clearly which is very good. This means that we just need to help Gary slow down when he is talking and listen to the words he says. Good stuff. Then Gary went home and played with new toy called Prizos. They are little round beads that you place in trays to make designs. This kept him very busy the rest of the day. This also works on his motor skills that really need help. My neighbor Rose brought her two girls over to visit. Rose had some errands to do and I volunteered to watch the kids. Gary had a blast playing with Karisa as they both made designs. Little Kayce and me colored. Kayce is so cute about 2 years old and loves hanging out with me. Such a fun afternoon.

Now that we have played out all is sound a sleep. Looking forward to another exciting day in the life of a Kindergardener.

Monday Monday

We had a great weekend. I had fun at the two art exhibits I went to on Saturday. Then Sunday was at my mom's. Gary and my dad went up to the barn where there is a little green house. Gary put dirt in a pot for my mom and she will add the mint plant later. Then my dad showed Gary the little Tomatoe plants starting to grow. Lots of fun. Gary loves his garden time with Grandpa. Gary is feeling much better. I am still fighting Allergies. But plan on doing something fun today. Will be getting Gary soon form school and then will take him to Little Monkey Business, a fun indoor play place for kids and coffee for mom. Will try to let him do something other than play on computer all day. Hope all is well with everyone else.

Sunday

We all woke up this morning in different beds. Gary sleeping across the top of the big bed, Jennifer was in Gary's room and I was in the yellow room. Tonight we will all be in the proper beds.

It was a beautiful day here in Colorado. Temperatures in the low 60s and sunny. We went to Grandpa Rhino and Grandma Rosemary's today for lunch. After lunch Gary went up to the barn and put some dirt into a pot for Grandma to use.

After lunch we went home and Jennifer took a nap (the cold that just wouldn't go away is visiting us again) while Gary and I played outside for a while.

After playing outside we went to the basement were Gary watch Woody Woodpecker on hulu.com while I got insurance stuff ready for Gary's speech therapy.

Tomorrow Gary goes back to school and I go back to work.
