Saturday

Gary went to sleep early tonight. He might be fighting a bit of a cold.
Other than that Gary had a good day. He spent the morning with his mommy and played some computer games. We all went to lunch at Chilli's before Gary had his tennis lessons. Gary had fun at tennis (he learned to hit an overhead). While Jennifer watched Gary at tennis I went grocery shopping.

When we all got home we watched some SpongeBob Square Pants. Jennifer took a nap. After SpongeBob Gary played computer games on my computer while I used one of the other computers downstairs.

We then ate dinner, Gary took his bath, ate a snack, brushed his teeth, and then went to bed.

Friday Night

It's a quiet Friday night. Jennifer and Gary are upstairs getting ready for bed. Gary and I spent the evening together while Jennifer went cooking at Supper Solutions. We ate dinner, watched some Goofy Cartoons, and played some computer games.

Thursday

Its Thursday night and Jennifer is reading stories to Gary. I read him the first story and now Jennifer is reading to him about Groundhogs Day.

Today Jennifer went to the Dentist and had a deep cleaning and a cap put in. Gary had a good day at school and was picked up by his Grandpa Rhino. He played with his Grandpa until Jennifer got back from the dentist and then the had pizza for lunch.

Wednesday

It was another cold day here. Warmer than yesterday but really windy.
Gary went to school and then worked with his OT, Miss Nikki. He did ok at school but had a great day with Miss Nikki.

Story Time

It's Tuesday night and Jennifer is reading a bedtime story to Gary, Harvey, Roxy, Coco, and Sirius. Hopefully Gary will be aslep soon and then I will soon follow.

Jennifer went painting tonight. Her next few paintings will be of birds with selling them at the Spring Craft fair her goal.

Gary had a good day at school and at Dr. Rydell's office.

I had a long day at work, but it wasn't a bad day.

It is warming up. The temperature was in the 20s today. Tomorrow if should 40s.

I Hate Mondays

It was a busy day at work for me as I had to catch up after being out on Thursday and Friday. It was a pain but being busy made the day go a lot quicker.

Jennifer kept Gary home today as he was pretty tired this morning. While Jennifer was brushing snow off of her car, Gary went and snuggled under the covers on the bed in the spare bedroom where Jennifer was sleeping while she was sick.

Back to work tomorrow

Jennifer and Gary are on their way to dreamland. I'm watching the food network and planning on joining them shortly. Tomorrow will be a busy morning for me as I have been off since Thursday.

winters here

Hey, feeling much better now. I was staying in the guest bedroom so as to not get Nick sick and today went back to the big bed. Hey. I figured I have been on antibiotics for 2 days and feeling much better. Looks like snow is trying to fall outside. Hope to get some of the fun white stuff. If the weather would just stay stable I could get well and stay that way. Gary is having fun with dad today and the computer. I feel well enough to stay awake until tonight. Gary is happy to have his mommy back. Hope everyone had a great weekend. By for now.

Sunday Afternoon

It's a quiet Sunday here. Jennifer got up with Gary and fed him breakfast. She let me sleep in a bit. Then I got up and she went back to sleep. Gary went potty in the potty chair so he earned some playing time with Madagascar 2. I let him play for about an hour while I ate and watched a little TV. Then I had him come upstairs and eat lunch. After lunch we watched some Huey, Dewey, and Louie. He then wanted to play Madagascar again. I told him he had to use the potty chair and he ran into the bathroom and went to the bathroom. I think I have finally found a tool to get him potty trained.

I'm now working on laundry while Jennifer rests. She is feeling better her cold has made her tired and sleep is an excellent remedy for colds.

Another Saturday Night

It's Saturday night and hopefully Gary will be going to bed soon. He has had a fairly quiet day. He played Madagascar again. Gary and I also went to Fatburger for lunch. After lunch he played outside with Briana and Karissa.

Jennifer is feeling better. She came downstairs for dinner and then watched some TV with Gary. Jennifer is also having fun with her Facebook page.

Friday Night

It's Friday night and Jennifer is in bed with a head cold. I took the day off to watch Gary. We spent the day at home taking it easy. Winter decided to come back today and the temperature has dropped from the Mid 60s (almost 70) to the mid 30s. It is also snowing a bit. Not much accumulation is expected.

Gary had a good day using the potty. I told him that he had to use the potty to earn Madagascar and he said he did not want to earn Madagascar he wanted to play Madagascar.

He is winding down for the night and I'll try to get him to bed soon.

You want me to sign what

Hi all, yes I am suppose to be sleeping right now. I decided to do some facebooking and emailing, then wanted to add a little something to our blog. God I am getting as bad as Nick and Gary with this computer stuff. Ha Ha

The dealership did give us the offer and I told them I would think about it and let them now tomorrow. We did do one good thing. The dealership tried to intimidate me into signing the papers today. They were say you really have to sign these papers today for your title. Then I said- " No. I don't have to sign anything. I have already extended my license plates through March and I don't need to sign anything until later." Our lawyer said that was a good move but we will have to accept what they offer. But at least they will maybe sweat a little. Also was a very funny photo opportunity when we left. The was a salesman with a big new white van he was trying to sell. Parked next to my red van with my license plates that I wrote- Go get Lemon
Go get Screwed Go Pontiac Buick GMC. Ha Ha. a tiny piece of justice.

Now off to sleep so I can have the needed energy for Gary.

Thursday Night

We got Gary's IEP today. He still has a way to go but he also come a long way. The IEP team has identified some new goals and some of the things that they are going to work on.

After the IEP meeting we went to the lying Car dealer. We talked to the lying general manager who told us that cars develop major problems overnight (and he implied that Jennifer must have driven the car irresponsibly to cause the problem). He offered us 10% of the transmission bill which we will take. Jennifer will call tomorrow and let him know that we will accept it. Going to arbitration will cost over $2,000 and we have no guarantee of the outcome.

We will also sign the corrected odometer paperwork so we can get the title. Now all I have to do is make up some flyers stating that GO GMC sells unsafe cars and distribute them around Park Meadows Mall. With all of the trouble the auto industry is in I find it hard to believe that the general manager of a car dealer can be so clueless.

Currently Jennifer is resting. her cold is back (sinus infection) and Gary is playing Madagascar. The DVD comes out two days after my birthday. I know what I am getting for a present.

Wednesday Night

It's Wednesday night and Jennifer is painting. Gary is playing Madagascar Escape 2 Africa. He is actually doing pretty good. I'm going to get him off the game in a few minutes and get him upstairs. And then I have to remember to get the trash outside since tomorrow is garbage day.

I'll probably be taking most of tomorrow as we have Gary's IEP meeting tomorrow morning and the we go to the car dealer. They screwed up some paperwork on the odometer reading. We may have some leverage now to get them to pay for the transmission.

Inauguration Day

Today was a great day. I was able to watch the inauguration at work. I saw the oath of office and then listened to President Obama's Inaugural Address. Some of my office mates also watched. It was a really good speech.

Gary also had a great day today. He did well in school and at Dr. Rydell's office. After that he played "Madagascar Escape 2 Africa". When I got home from work I played the game with him (we took turns). He is already better than I am at games (of course, since I don't play a lot of games I pretty much suck).

Jennifer had a good day also. She watched our neighbor's two year old daughter Casey.

Jen's day in

Hi All,

Yes I spent the day in leisure. I did get some laundry done. Then for lunch I played with my Christmas toy" Pancake Puffer". I made some blueberry puffs and Gary wanted regular pancake puffs. I found out that I can flip them better with a jelly spoon, soup spoon works too. Much better than the sticks. Like Hello I'm not Asian don't do the chopstick thing. Ha Ha. Then had to play with my new endeavor the Facebook. Downloaded, labeled, added, deleted, web surfed found and a Facebook was created. Still work to do, but looking pretty good. Also emailed and then talked to my childhood friend Kelly. So fun to walk down memory lane sometimes. So now it is time to walk away from the computer, put the mouse down and go get some sleep. Tomorrow will be busy, Gary see Dr. Pat and goes to school. I will try to help out a neighbor and watch her adorable 2 year old for awhile so mom and dad can get some sleep. The both work night shift tonight. The dad is in the service and awaiting his next orders. He has already service two tours over in Iraq. So I said I would try to help out when I can. Inauguration Eve

It was a quiet day here at the KCCH. While I went off to work Jennifer and Gary had a bit of a lie in. Then while I was keeping the world safe, Jennifer was updating her new facebook page and Gary was playing his computer games. Gary has school tomorrow (he was of for Martin Luther King Jr. day). He has school only three days this week as Friday is a teacher work day.

The Return of the Molenator

Gary lost another tooth today. It is his second, so we expect the Molenator to make an appearance after Gary goes to sleep.

Jennifer is starting to feel better. We went out for a little bit this evening. Her and Gary are winding down upstairs while I watch a little football and go hunting on Facebook for people I went to school with.

Sunday Afternoon

Today has been a lazy Sunday. Jennifer is still not feeling well so she slept quite a bit of the day while I went outside and watched Gary play with some of the neighborhood kids. After lunch he played video games on the computer while I watched some football.

After Jennifer woke up from her nap I fixed Gary a snack and then went outside and took down the Christmas lights. All we have left is the Christmas tree and the lights in the backyard. I'll get them later as it shouldn't take me more than 10 minutes.

And if anyone cares it is 56 outside. Tomorrow should be in the mid 60s.

Saturday Afternoon

Gary and I are home now. While Jennifer got some rest I took Gary to his tennis lesson. He did pretty good. There was only one other student in the class today. They worked on hitting a backhand.

After tennis Gary and I went for a late lunch at Red Robin. I had the bacon cheese burger and Gary had a grilled cheese sandwich. After lunch he played the Car game twice in the Red Robin arcade area.

We then went to Falcon Park where Gary had a lot of fun playing. Some of our neighbors were there so Gary was able to play with Briana, Karissa, Karl, Ilija, and Marco.

Saturday Morninig

It is Saturday morning here (ok it's 11:oo but that is still morning). Jennifer is fighting a cold so I'll be taking Gary to his tennis lesson at 1:00. Right now we're watching "Imagination Movers". Gary really likes the show. He played on my laptop earlier today and watched some Disney channel.

Friday before Lunch

I had a short day at work so I am home already (let the weekend begin). Gary is home from school where he had another thumbs up day. Jennifer is also home, she is volunteering at Gary's school on Friday. We will be home for another forty-five minutes and the we will head off to meet Gary and Rosemary for lunch.

Thursday Night

It was a good day today. Work was fine and I even got off early. I only need to work three hours tomorrow to complete my week.

Gary had a good day at school. After school Gary and Jennifer met Tom (Jennifer's brother) at the Wildlife experience for lunch. After lunch Gary played on the computer for a little bit. He then played outside for a while with our neighbor Karissa (9). After Karissa's mother got home from work, Gary played inside with Karissa and Karissa's little sister Casey.

Tomorrow is the last day of Gary being his class' B.I.P. (Beary Important Peerson). He will be bringing in stuff for show and tell. Then after school we will all go eat lunch with Gary and Rosemary.

Wednesday Night

It is a quiet Wednesday night here. Jennifer is painting and Gary is watching Spongebob. After Spongebob it will be snack time for Gary and then hopefully I can get him upstairs to bed.

We are having a mini heatwave here. The nights are cold but the next couple of days are ging to be in the 40s and 50s with Monday expected to be 61.

Toothday

Yesterday Jennifer got to go to the dentist. Today was my turn. The cleaing was not too bad, the exam however showed two small cavities (next to existing fillings). One of them is next to a small filling so they will just make the filling bigger. Unfortunately the other one is necxy to a big filling so I will get to have another crown.

Only Gary had an excellent dental check up this month. He does have a couple of adult teeth coming in. The tooth fairy (or the "Molenator") may be visiting here again in the near future.

Monday in the Snow

It snowed today. Only two to three inches but it was enough to more than double the time it took me to get to work. Gary is the B.I.P (Beary Important Person) at school this week. Today he brought in a poster about himself. The poster had pictures of his family, the cats, and his friends.

Jennifer had two dentist appointments today. On appointment was crown prep to replace a cracked tooth and the second appointment was for a cleaning. I have a dentist appointment tomorrow.

Saturday (or Computer Day)

Today we did a lot of nothing but relax. Jennifer played on her computer with her house design software (now all we need to do is win the lottery). Gary played Jimmy Neutron on his computer. I watched some football and took a nap.

We did go to Big Bill's for dinner tonight and after dinner we walked around Park Meadows Mall. We haven't been to the mall since before Thanksgiving.

Jen's Dream Home

Well it is Friday night, Nick and Gary have had a lot of time together. I decided yesterday to finally down load software for designing your own home. I have been designing a home of my dreams for 20 years now in my head. Now I can finally get a really blue print. Also has a 3D part where you can take a walk through your home. So much fun. But feels funny with me being glued to the computer. It is usually Nick and Gary you can't pull away. I have finished the first floor to my dream home. Lots of fun. Now it is time to actually spend time with my family. And may be some day after we win the lottery we can build my dream. I made sure to add a special office area for Nick to hide in. And of course have to have the his and her kitchen so both of us can cook without getting in each others way. Then you can not forget my coffee bar area. And a special guest kitchen and family room area. So there is something for everyone. Even a special pet room to keep your pet stuff out of sight, and special box window for my kitties. Too much fun for me. Have a great weekend everyone.

Thursday

It was another good day here for everyone. The weather was nice and I took the opportunity to take down some of the outside Christmas displays.

Midweek

It was a pretty quiet day for me. Gary had a busy day. He went to school where he had a great day. After school he went to Burger King to play with his friends. After lunch his OT Miss Nikki came over and he had another good session. Finally, he played with Karissa from across the street.

Painting Night

It's Tuesday night and Gary and I are hanging out in the basement. He is on my computer playing Madagascar Escape 2 Africa and I am working on my fileserver. Jennifer is out painting tonight. She is working on a big painting and then she plans on starting a bunch of smaller bird paintings. She wants the birds for the next craft fair that she does. The Spring Highlands Ranch craft fair is at the end of March.

Gary also had a good day at school and at Dr. Rydell's office.

The Tooth be Told

Gary went to the dentist today and did great. He fought a little bit on the way there but once he was there he let the hygienist clean all of his teeth. The dentist checked all of his teeth and then brushed them with fluoride. He has a couple more loose baby teeth.

The Tooth will Set You Free

Today was a good Sunday. We went to Grandma Rhino and Grandma Rosemary's house for a yummy lunch. Gary had fun with his grandpa. After lunch he played and watched the movie "Cars". Tom and I watched the Ravens beat the Dolphins.

We spent a quiet afternoon at home. I watched the Eagles beat the Vikings and continued shredding old documents.

Jennifer and I had chicken fajitas for dinner while Gary ate some mini-bagel dogs. After dinner it was to the basement for everyone. I continued shredding, Gary played Madagascar Escape 2 Africa, and Jennifer looked up an old friend on the computer.

After playing on the computer it was bath time for Gary. He then brushed his teeth and soon was one tooth short as he lost his first baby tooth. He shows pretty good timing because tomorrow he has a dentist appointment.

Tomorrow is also his first day back to school after Christmas vacation.

Another Saturday Night

It's Saturday night and I am watching some football while Gary watches "A Bug's Life". Jennifer just finished playing with her new pancake puffer pan.

It's a cold and snowy day here. But at least it was clear this morning when I was called in to work. It was an easy problem to diagnose (saw it Friday at a different location). It was just time consuming as I had to get the developer to come in and make the fix. After work I hung out with Gary and watched the first playoff game.

The First Friday of 2009

Today was a pretty good day. I went to a nice quiet office (only 7 or 8 people there). Jennifer and Gary went to the Wildlife Experience and then played with Justin and Mira down the street.

After dinner Gary played some of his skateboard game while I watched the Sugar Bowl and shredded old bills.
